Nickelback is a formula that is tired. surrender.gif

First tune I heard of theirs 'How You Remind Me' was fucking brilliant in my view, just refreshingly raw and genuine.

Seems they figured the idea was to just keep doing exactly that. Goddamn. It gets to be insulting to intelligence.

I'd dig Chad's gravel voice if it had some range. Combined with the recycled music, it's monotonous to me.

He may have some unchartered potential as a songwriter. Seems like he has some deep shit to share and really wants to, but as it stands their music doesn't interest me enough to care.

That said, my folks in-law are really into Nickelback, and they're just about the coolest people on the planet so in trusting what they must be hearing that I'm not, I give NB some credit for somehow impressing the people that impress me most.

Holy fucking shit. The fact that people are comparing Live to Nickleback goes to show just how low our boys from Live have sunk.

I hate to be closed-minded and disrespectful of others' taste in music, but Nickleback has to be the worst band in existence today. They are utterly unoriginal, insultingly repetitive, disgustingly bland, and grossly overrated.

Every time they come up on the tv or radio I punch something and feel the urge to vomit.

They are the posterchild for everything WRONG about the current musical landscape. People listen to them and like them because they are so atrociously bad that they don't require any thought, energy, or emotion from simple-minded people.

They are like turning on a television and staring at a blank screen; sadly, lots of people today enjoy such a thing because it takes less mental power to be mindlessly bored than to have to think about anything at all.

There is only one thing I enjoy about Nickleback: the passionate hatred that intelligent people feel towards them. Case in point:
