Sorry I didn't realize Chris was a Christian boy. Anyway I'm not talking about sounding like Nickelback lyrically or vocally I'm talking about sounding like them musically. The music really could be interchangable for either band. Just boring, bland uncreative crap.

I don't mind Daughtry. I think he was immediately moulded into Nickelback number 2 in order to become popular and make bucks. It worked obviously.

BUT to be honest, I heard the song It's Not Over on the radio and was sure I was listening to Nickelback. I had no idea it was Daughtry and my wife thought the exact same thing. We were both surprised when the dj announced Daughtry afterwards.

When it comes down to it, I don't blame Chris one bit. He has a family to worry about and selling out is probably the last of his worries. If I were in his shoes, I'd sell out way faster than he did in order to give my kids the life they deserve. Good for you Chris, rake it in and make yourself rich. It's the way of the world nowadays.... victory.gif

hey hey hey now...........nickelcrack and daughtry are two of my guilty pleasures....along with boat loads of corona!!!!!!!!!!!

i caught both bands last time they were in portland and had a hella great time.......and i did consume boat loads of beer to boot.
