I agree with you again Laura. I think some people have very different ideas on what makes a live show good. For me its not about bands playing all of their hits exactly the same way that they sound on the cd. I mean why bother going to see a band like that, just listen to the cd. I for one, love it when an artist adds different things to their songs by changing the tempo, as Counting Crows often will do, and by adding some different lyrics or different instruments. To me that is what a live show is for. Its a chance for artists to express themselves in a different way and its a chance for them to spontaneous and to give their fans something new and different from what they have already heard.

Agreed.

This is what makes Dave Matthews Band live shows as awesome as they are.

I also heard on WRAT 95.9 this afternoon that they may announce when Live will be in NJ at the end of the week.

It now says new tour announcement coming shortly. I guess someone got yelled at for letting the date slip early. You never say when you will announce new dates when you already have one going on sale.

You know I was wondering how Ed's voice was going to hold up too. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

It looks like that is a minor league ballpark, I wonder if they will be doing the whole tour using minor legue parks, I know some other bands have done that. I also know there is a brand spanking new one in York! There is also one in Lancaster. Hmmmmmmm............

I'm a bit disappointed.....standing in a general admission field with 10,000 fans and a poor view of the stage, will not be a good concert experience. Will the seats be open for these shows?

I guess it would be either GA or seats on the field and then you could buy seats in the stands. I guess it all depends on how they decide to set things up. When I saw Counting Crows and Live at Hershey stadium they had seats set up on the field and they also sold tickets to the seats in the stands.

I know Bob Dylan plays minor league parks a lot and he usually has the whole field GA so I guess we have to wait and see how they decide to set it all up.

The tickets are all 50 dollars and general admission. This just looks like it could be bad. Hoping I'm wrong.

Oh well that would lead me to believe that you can either be in the stands anywhere you want to be or in the all GA field. I doubt they would close down the stands for the show as I'm sure not everyone will want to be in the middle of the crowded field.
