Hey there, fans of Live!

Here's a new game for us Live fans to play; I'm going to post two Live songs here and someone has to pick their favourite (and explain why this song has to win). Then this person is able to post two new songs and let somebody else choose. It's easy and it's fun!

I'll go first:

Which one is better and why:

Brothers Unaware vs. Lakini's Juice

Enjoy! IPB Image

Lakini's Juice owns in the guitar department, but it's too pop and produced for my tastes. It seems too deliberate and calculated at times and gets repetitive. Brothers Unaware is put together more nicely, flows better and more naturally, and sounds better suited to their abilities. So, the winner is Brothers Unaware.

TURN MY HEAD is a nice song, it's catchy but i think that it careless of lyrics... i think that RUN TO THE WATER is a great song

1. because CT, PD and EK participated in the music

2. because the lyric get to your bones and shows you how to write an extended lyric without lose the rhythm... of lyricsnes (i don't know how it writes.

and 3. because is produced by Jerry Harrison... thumbsup.gif

the winner is RTTW nod.gif

I alone. For the beauty and the raw energy it provides.

The beauty of gray VS Pain lies on the riverside

EDIT: BAH! I got beaten by a minute! >.<
Alright. Even though Operation Spirit has a nice way of making the song bigger and bigger (and the drums are great btw) I still prefer White Discussion. Again ... the POWER! tongue.gif

yeah.

Tough One.
Im going with White discussion because it is the perfect ending for Throwing Copper(Not counting Horse). However, when you see those Live concerts of Operation Spirit when they were 19 and that passion, its incredible...now, im not so sure what to choose...ok, im sticking with White Discussion.

According to the time Fredrik was first. So it's: The Beauty of Grey vs. Pain Lies on the Riverside.

Both great songs from a great album, but Pain Lies on the Riverside is the better one for sure. Especially the chorus is much more catchy and whenever I hear Pain, I just can't help singing allong as hard as I can. With Beauty of Grey not so much. So it's Pain Lies on the River Side for me!

Next up: Ghost vs. Lighting Crashes

Ghost because it's my favorite Live song. I just find it so haunting and perfect. The way that Ed goes from a whisper to a scream and back again.

Pillar of Davidson or Where Fishes Go?

not easy! I think I choose Pillar of Davidson for it's TC feelin', the feelin' of telling where they come from etc, and most important: the good & fine building up of the song, it just sounds very beautiful especially the 2 lyric-lines at the same time at the end of the song

For the best lyrics I would choose Where Fishes go, very deep, very Ed-ish, and with some moments of more harder music it makes it one of my favo's.
But I prefer P o D just allittle more.

Oke, next one is:

Dance with you vs Night of Nights

Dance with You is a sweet song but there is just something so sexy about Night of Nights...so I'll go with that.

My two favorites on Metal Jewelry...

Mother Earth is a Vicious Crowd or 10,000 Years (Peace is Now)?

I see that WaiterAtCliftons posted first but no biggie.

Mother Earth because it has a great melody and I always thought it would make an awesome opener for a gig.

I'm sorry for the confusion. I edited my post and answered WaiterAtCliftons post aswell. The answer is below the line in my post - although it looks like it's more a part of my profile than the answer :/ So sorry about that.

Hmm, two album openers huh? I like Rattlesnake more but it was a hard choice because Otter Creek has better lyrics. It's like comparing froot loops and cap'n crunch it is...

I like choosing B-Sides cause it makes the game more interesting. smile.gif
