The released a few EP's via download. You can get them here The Dreaming Music Store The Dreamo Acoustic EP is great. The new stuff on myspace is much "cleaner" with more production. All of it sounds great. The new CD should be out soon.

I always hated Stabbing Westward, but perversely I absolutely LOVE The Dreaming and have done since I first heard them about 18 months ago. All the EPs are worth the money and I'm really excited about the new album now they have been signed to a label.

I wouldn't say they've made any money, yet. I'm sure that's not the real motivation with them. One of the main reasons Christopher Hall ended Stabbing Westward was because of label pressure to make a radio hit. He formed The Dreaming as a result of that. However similar they may look or sound is debatable and others could only hope they are as good as The Dreaming. They're not even really my usual cup of tea, I preferred Stabbing Westward. But since I live in the LA area and they play SoCal frequently, I checked them out a few times. Definitely one of the tightest, best sounding bands I've seen. And Christophers vocals are tremendous.

Thanks Tiger!
Never heard of them. I listened to the first 2 songs, liked them and sent a friend request.

They kinda remind me of another fav, Third Eye Blind rockin.gif

They're different than Stabbing Westward, with the one similarity being Christophers passionate lyrics and performance. Some of their earlier EP's sound a little closer to SW with the newest stuff being quite different. Their live performances are incredible. Here's a link to an article from their myspace page The Dreaming Article, it gives some insight into the band.

You have a certain point over the image, but I've been looking at bands wearing black clothes, too much make up and full of tattoos constantly for the last 25 years or more. However, I can't think of anybody The Dreaming sound remotely like who's riding high in the charts, hence makes the money as you put it.
