Well Nick... I would like to see a download section at the new site in which all the unreleased b-sides and rarities etc Dan had (and we haven't) would be placed. Great idea, isn't it??

I think the site as Dan left 'm was quite good and has several great xtras (such as the tabs, all the pics and the tour archive that goes back to years ago).
Any ideas would maybe a section with reviews of their albums written by fans, (fans around here can write and add them if they want to). Another idea is (along with the idea earlier said) posting also videos at the site, instead of only audio. The only thing I also really miss is a good discography where you can check all their albums, singles, how much they sold, maybe how good the songs did it in the Charts, their the release dates etc. I know that would be a lot of work, but it would complete the site.
Ohw, and the tv-section would be great if it was updated often. Fans like to see if their band is coming somewhere or do an interview at tv or etc, although I often know it by means of the forum, but still I think it's a great feature when you talk about a FANsite.

Well that were just a few thoughts of mine, maybe you can't do anything with it, but I just though I should share it.

You have some really good ideas. Greg and I will have to discuss the feasibility of some of them once we figure out how to combat the server speed.

Swami has his Live Discography at www.livediscography.com. He's re-scanning all of his 400+ items with a better scanner for better pictures, but the site is quite populated with albums, singles, VHS and DVD releases and more. It's a collection site, so it doesn't have sell-through numbers, charts or anything, but the CD's (when applicable) have release dates... at least the year they were released in.

Yeah, we already have that. Setlists and Reviews allows pictures of specific shows to be posted. We also have a Live with fans piucture section.

Not sure if i'm too much of a fresh face to have a say in this, but I think there needs to be a few more forums to post in. You know, maybe an whole off topic category with a general chit chat forum, a seperate one for movies and tv, music, and sports etc. Still of course keeping the Live category as that's most important. But spread out the forums a little bit, make it a bigger place. More places to go and see, post in etc. Might encourage people to join a bit more if they see that there's a good selection of forums to have fun in.

That or setting the background position to fixed. As for speed (which I forgot to mention before), I guess it's a tad sluggish, but nothing too bad for me. That said though, i'm on this fancy broadband thing now.

We have an off-topic forum. It works pretty well since we don't have a ton of active posters. If the topic is relevant it will stay near the top and you wont have to dig for it.
