I very rarely watch UFC and I only catch it on TV; I've never seen a PPV. I don't follow it, either.

I only watch Raw. I got DVR like a month ago, and I set it to record ECW and SmackDown since I never watch because of work, but I still don't even bother. Usually just delete the recordings..they don't interest me enough. And I also record TNA, but I don't watch it too much either. If I do, I'll usually just skip to whatever involves Kurt Angle and then shut it off.

All work and no play makes sandkind a dull boy...

FINALLY, another UFC fan...love it, follow the MMA game...my favorite fighter fights in Pride, the big Russian and current Pride champ, Fedor Emmelianko...absolutely the baddest man on the face of the earth. Who do u like, Elise? I am also a big Mirko Crocop fan, who just made his UFC debut and whom I predict will soon be UFC heavyweight champ. What's your take on Ortiz, I can't stand him & loved watching Liddell beat him. I can talk this shiiiittee for hours!

Still love good ole 'rasslin' too...hope the taker wins the gold! Luger, Nash & Scott Steiner are all acquantices, I have been guests of both at WCW events, but have not seen or spoke to Steiner or Nash in a couple years. Luger is actually roommates w/a friend of mine, who is also a minister, go figure. Nash is funny as hell on TNA, and the Big Bad Booty Daddy just returned to TNA also!

LOL....I wonder how many people on here get that reference. Who's your pick for the Rumble Sandkind?

uuuhhhh, taker? is it cheatin' since i just saw your post? i actually thought hbk might win, i really think vince is makin' a huge mistake if he doesn't put the gold on one or both, as they are receiving incredibly huge pops. also, puttin' the gold on michaels before HHH's return would make perfect sense for the destruction of DX and HHH's return to hunting the gold.

I am relatively new to MMA, so i have not watched much PRIDE, but I do train with a guy who is pro. He fights for American Top Team down here in Coconut Creek, FL so when we started to train I strarted to get into it. As for Ortiz, he is such a tool. I am glad he got is ass kicked. Go back to Big Bear and train some more. No amount of cardio will help you against Liddell. As for Liddell, he is going down when he gets in there with Rampage. I really like to watch George St. Pierre. I think his style is very fluid, cant stand to hear him talk, the French accent makes him sound like such a tool. Yeah, I am so psyched you like the UFC!!!!! Oh and what would the UFC be without Joe Rogan-he cracks me up.

St. Pierre is a great fighter to watch, he is definitely on top of his game. Though I am not a big Liddell fan, I don't see Jackson beating him this time based on Jackson's recent fights, but who knows? You should go to YouTube and do a search for Fedor, I always butcher his last name but if you just type in Fedor you can find several clips. You should especially find Fedor vs. Kevin Randellman and Fedor vs. Crocop. Fedor survives one of the most vicious slams ever against Randellman and then makes him tap after applying a kimora. Another great fighter to watch is Bas Rutten, who retired several years ago as UFC heavyweight champ. And yes, Rogan is great, and he also trains and is a genuine badass.

But really, who is there to face him? I heard the original idea was to put him against Big Show, but he has apparantly retired. And really, Khali??? *yawn*

I thought originally that with this whole McMahon vs Trump thing they were gonna have a wrestler each to represent them, McMahon was gonna pick Khali and everyone was gonna be like "omgz who can beat him because he's 19foot 4inches without an ounce of wrestling ability, but who can beat him??" and then Trump would get the man who knows how to beat giants and hire Hogan (who has about as much wrestling ability as Khali) and the two of them would put the audience in a sleeper hold at wrestlemania

Hopefully, that won't happen.

QUOTE
Benoit's death part of a double murder-suicide
Written: June 25, 2007

According to lead investigator Lt. Tommy Pope, of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, in Fayetteville, Ga., the deaths of WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, wife Nancy and son Daniel were the result of a double murder-suicide, WWE.com has learned.

Benoit failed to appear both at Saturday’s live event in Beaumont, Tx., and WWE’s Vengeance: Night of Champions in Houston Sunday night, after informing WWE of a family emergency. Several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning prompted concerned friends to alert Richard Hering, VP of Government Relations for WWE, Inc. Hering, in turn, spoke with Fayette County sheriffs Monday, and requested that they respond to the Benoit residence to check on him and his family.

Authorities representing the Sheriff’s Department initially had a difficult time entering Benoit’s new Fayetteville home Monday afternoon, which had been guarded by two large German Shepherds roaming freely around the property. Once authorities entered the residence, they quickly located the bodies of Benoit, Nancy and Daniel. WWE was notified of the discovery at approximately 4 p.m.

At 10 p.m. Monday night, Lt. Pope held a press conference in conjunction with Scott Ballard, the district attorney for Fayette County. The press conference officially ruled authorities’ findings as a double murder-suicide from within the home.

WAGA, a FOX-owned and operated television station in Atlanta, reported that investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and 7-year-old son over the weekend, then himself on Monday.

The three bodies have been received by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s crime lab, in Decatur, Ga., where autopsies will be performed Tuesday morning. Toxicology reports will not become available for at least two weeks.

WWE.com has further information relating to both the investigation and the cause of death, but the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department has requested that WWE.com not release any additional details at this time.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -- WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and son were found dead Monday. Authorities told ABC News that the deaths are being investigated as a possible suicide and double homicide.

Pro wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and 7-year-old son were found dead in their Georgia home.

Lt. Tommy Pope of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department said the three were found at their home about 2:30 p.m.

Pope said autopsies on Benoit, his wife Nancy, and 7-year-old son Daniel were scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday. It could be weeks before there is a result.

Benoit had missed several appointments over the weekend, leading concerned parties to ask police to do a "welfare check," Pope told ABC News. When sheriffs arrived at the home, they found the wrestler, his wife, and their son dead.

Detective Bo Turner told television station WAGA that the case was being treated as a murder-suicide, but said that couldn't be confirmed until evidence was examined by a crime lab.

The station said that investigators believe the 40-year-old Benoit killed Nancy, 43, and Daniel over the weekend, then himself on Monday. A neighbor called police, and the bodies were found in three rooms.

The WWE reported on its Web site on Monday night that friends received several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning, prompting VP of Government Relations for WWE, Inc. Richard Hering to contact Fayette County sheriffs on Monday and request they check on Benoit and his family.

According to Pope, there were no signs of gunshot wounds or stabbing. Authorities are not ruling out other causes, such as poisoning, suffocation, or strangulation.

Pope told ABC News "the instruments of death were located on scene," but would not specify what those instruments are or where in the house the bodies were found. Pope added the department is "not actively searching for any suspects outside of the house."

The house is in a secluded neighborhood set back about 60 yards off a gravel road, surrounded by stacked stone wall and a double-iron gate. On Monday night, the house was dark except for a few outside lights. There was a police car in front, along with two uniformed officers.

Benoit, 40, was a former world heavyweight champion, Intercontinental champion and held several tag-team titles over his career.

"WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family's relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy," the federation said in a statement on its Web site.

Benoit was scheduled to perform at the "Vengeance" pay-per-view event Sunday night in Houston, but was replaced at the last minute because of what announcer Jim Ross called "personal reasons."

Benoit, a Canadian native, maintained a home in metro Atlanta from the time he wrestled for the defunct World Championship Wrestling.

The WWE canceled its live "Monday Night RAW" card in Corpus Christi, Texas, and USA Network aired a three-hour tribute to Benoit in place of the scheduled wrestling telecast.

"My relationship with Chris has extended many years and I consider him a great friend," Carl DeMarco, the president of WWE Canada, said in a statement. "Chris was always first-class -- warm, friendly, caring and professional -- one of the best in our business."
