If you could have one more Live album...would you prefer a brand spanking new album or a album of b-sides/rarities? Personally, I'd take the B-sides.

New album without a doubt. B-sides would be cool but I always will pick new material than past rejects from old albums.

I hope Ed says something new about a comin album in the future (2007 or 2008) at 29 januari. Offcourse I don't think they already worked at new songs, but that's the closest gig to now, so maybe we hear someting more about a new record.
And maybe his hair has grown longer, whaha lol.gif

Ed said at the last concert it would be more of an angry record.

What? I thought they weren't making angry music anymore due to the fact that they're all so happy with their lives and families. I thought they were past the tennage angst that was present in so much of their early and that they had found a sort of peace with life and all that was in it. To write a more "angry" album at this point would kind of destroy what justification people have given for the last few albums, wouldn't it?

Very true! But still, I'd rather have them called "hypocrites" than getting another happy album.
After all, it is all about the music, right?

And maybe they will also start making rock music again. That would be great, but I'll believe it when I hear it. I don't know if Live have it in them to be angry anymore. Here's hoping I'm wrong and we get an angry kick ass ROCK album.

Agreed. But it'd be funny to see the people here attempting to defend a harder album after all the reasons they've given as to why the recent work is so light/pop-ish.

Actually what I think would be funny is if they did have a harder album come out, and then you would have to find something else to bitch about 24/7.

That's great "Alex" I don't care. The amount that some of you bitch about everything, it's as if you were personally offended by the album. This board in particular seems to gather some of the worst. I'm assuming it's not just the band Live that brings this out in you, but your own personal dispositions. I bet some of you guys are just whiny bitchers in general.

Bitching about people bitching is worse than bitching about something that is relevant in the context of the bitching taking place.

Why does my name have speech marks around it?

I'd love to see a heavier album again. I think what needs to be realised is that a heavier and rockier album doesn't neccesserily have to be angry. They can bring back some Rock while still having the peace in their lyrics, I believe.

For example, think of the song Blurry by Puddle of Mudd. Good rocky sound, absoloutely beautiful lyrics and meaning. If they can do it, then so can Mr Kowal...Kawollk....Krowayzl........Ed. wink.gif
