We are going to start a weekly poll for all FansofLive readers to participate in. The polls will debut on every Tuesday and run until Friday evenings. If you pick an answer, please elaborate so we can try to drum up some pretty cool discussions.

I've heard that Live may be playing some festival shows this and to me it would be only natural for them to return to their home state. Which festival would you choose?

Musikfest because I'm thinking of moving to the Bethlehem-ish area and that would be the perfect perk when checking out the area and job interviewing.

Nick - could you put the dates of the festivals up? I don't know when any of those actually take place.

The York Fair is perfect for them. There's nothing like a good hometown show.

Musikfest sucks because of the stage set up. I swear when I saw them there it was from row 500 and on a flat piece of land. Terrible set up for a show.

Rolling Rock is another bad choice because it is over run with drunken crowd surfers who could care less about the music.

I don't know about the Allentown fair but I think they usually have more popular acts there.

I saw Live at 3 of these places and I had to go with the Allentown Fair.

At Musikfest, the crowd was not into it at all. The only thing that made the show memorable was the fact that it was my birthday.
Rolling Rock was great, but the drive took forever and it was soooooooooo hot.
The York fair would be my second choice, for obvious reasons, but I remember the crowd having no energy at all...which was surprising to me.
I saw Motley Crue at the Allentown Fair. It was a good drive and easy to get a good spot in front of the stage. The energy of the crowd was amazing. Plus, my husband works in Allentown. Whenever there's a good concert in that area, we have a good excuse to spend the night so he can have a super short drive to work the next day (if its a Sunday). From our house, he has to drive an hour and fifteen minutes to get there. smile.gif

I think most central PA Festival crowds are lackluster. And for whatever reason, York seems to have issues with Live. Pretty sad when you think about it.

I agree that PA crowds suck. I'd much rather see them play a festival out of state. I don't think York has any issue with Live, I just think they have forgotten about them as sad as that is.

You may be right. The York Fair crowd wasn't terrible, but it was no where near AC levels. We just need less sleepy fans in the rural PA area. How did you turn out okay Heather? smile.gif

And how many times have you said you want to move?! tongue.gif

I'm not trying to say anything, if I hated it here that much I wouldn't still live here. Or maybe it's just the fact that I'm not rich and I can't afford to move to the beach.

But you have to admit the PA crowds are usually pretty lame as compared to the crowds in other states.

If there's gonna be one?? Offcourse there will be the Pinkpop festival Ed smile.gif every year!

Offcourse I would like to see that. I'm not saying this only cuz I live in Holland, also because the 4 times they played over there (1995, 1997, 2000 and 2002) were really REALLY good. Bring it on!
