Funny how R.E.M. -- the band who practically defined "alternative" music in terms of its presence on college radio in the 1980's, and who inspired so many of the other artists on the list -- is ranked #64.

And Green Day at #1??!

That's a pretty shit list, if you ask me.

Any list in which Green Day is at number one is automatically crap. That is, unless it's some kind of worst bands list.
