guitar.gif Live has the singles and the songs that most fans agree they listen to, but Live also has personal gems that individuals listen to that others may not. I'm talking about that non single, undiscussed, little listened to song that you personally have discovered and enjoy. I'm sure everyone has one off the path track that you feel nobody else even listens to regularly which has a special place in your heart and in your rotation.

My personal little gem track is #11 on MJ, Mother Earth Is A Vicious Crowd kicking.gif . When I first bought this CD back in the day it was my favorite track and to this day I still love it. For some reason I think the refrain is extremely catchy and I've always wanted to hear it in concert. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance. It is one of my favorite songs that they have made and I think that many of you may not even be familiar with it.

I invite each of you to revisit it.

I would also like to revisit your track. So, do you have a Live gem? If so what is it and why? Maybe we all have some little gems to share.

Haha this is so funny; when I saw the title of this thread, I right away knew which song I was going to name. And then I read Hoodstock's post and saw that he named the exact same song; Mother Earth is a Vicious Crowd!! It's my favourite Live song, right after Ghost!! Amazing song and amazingly underrated.

Absolutely Mother earth is a viscious crowd. Raw emotions in it. It would have been cool if there was more music in the verses, but anyway this is a big gem for me also.

Meltdown and We walk in a dream are also songs close to it for me.

Others: chorus of brothers unaware, pillar of davidson of course and i would say Out to dry for its REM style.

We Walk in the Dream: God, the beginning of this song is amazing. Put it on and listen to the first 30 seconds and you'll know what I mean.

on that ancient ground
nothin' more to be found
ah yeah


Sweet Release: A beautiful song from top to bottom. An amazing, uplifting chorus that sticks in your head for days at a time. The saving grace of Birds of Pray, in my humble opinion.

Two very underrated songs that I adore!

there are many gems, and I very much agree with mother earth.

My gem ... horse. I love horse. It's got this down-home kind of goodness that resonates with me.

I love this topic! There are so many though.....

Gas Hed Goes West - Not discussed or nearly appreciated enough.

Mother Earth ( totally down with that choice - I need to listen to it again, loudly.)

Top Acoustic - I don't know why but I just love it.

Sparkle - My favorite off of TDTH - should have been a single

Feel The Quiet River Rage - similar to Mother Earth, just very powerful.
