All Live fans know about Public Affection and the history of how Live came up with their name. I don't need a history lesson on it.

That being said we now have a large body of work to look at from Live. Knowing what we know now about their music, what they have done, where they have been and the direction they are going, if you could go back in time and rename the band at the beginning what would be fitting.

This is a forum for alternate names and the thought behind them. I love the name Live and I'm not suggesting they should change it. I'm only asking, knowing what we know now, if they had a different name from the beginning what else could they have been based on what they have done. thumbs-up.gif

Interesting topic - I've always thought 'The Distance' would be a suitable name for them, not least because they have a song called that but rather because their music reflects both an evolution and personal spiritual journey. Can't knock 'Live' though, haha. rockin.gif

I think that's a great name. Maybe "Uncle Chuck" would be a good second option.
