i heard this band on the radio for the first time ever today...sounded like Smile Empty Soul meets Metallica. The song was called Tears Don't Fall.

Is anyone familiar with these guys? I liked what I heard. Are they worth checking out?

Alex, have you ever heard them or are you just making an assumption on the crap name?

I'm not sure how you'd pigeonhole them. What they call Emo nowadays is punk based, where BFMV are more metal with some serious Iron Maiden inspired riffage... oh my god, it's... its... it's metallemo! I've heard worse bands actually, but I don't think I'll be buying an album.

Nah, I haven't heard their music at all, but the name is quite offputting. I just hate the recent emo stuff- and its such a ridiculous genre name anyway- all music should be emotional, shouldn't it? You don't have to be suicidal or have a bad relationship with your parents to make emotional music.
