recently had a conversation with my hunny about this....
What albums can you play from start to finish without skipping one?

For me its Throwing Copper and Pearl Jams Ten.I may be forgetting one or two but I doubt it.

Most cds I listen to completely. Albums that particularly stand out to me as 'complete' albums are...

Live- TDTH, TC, SS
Pink Floyd- DSOTM
Pain of Salvation- BE
Pain of Salvation- The Perfect Element
Opeth- Damnation
Opeth- Blackwater Park
Radiohead- OK Computer
Radiohead- The Bends
Radiohead- Kid A
Mr Bungle- California
Jeff Buckley- Grace
Gomez- Liquid Skin
Red Hot Chili Peppers- One Hot Minute
Sigur Ros- Takk...
Queen- Night at the Opera
Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds

..there's a lot more, but I'm just gonna stop...

Pretty much every album I really like, which probably amounts to around 100 albums or more by now. A truly great album doesn't have to be flawless, but has to work as a complete work of art, flowing through, without much of a difference in quality between songs. I won't even begin to list these albums that I don't skip around on. Alex named a few of them though.

Live - Throwing Copper
Live - The Distance to Here
Green Day - Dookie
Nirvana - Nevermind
Nirvana - In Utero

Maybe some more but these come to mind of ones from the 90's. There may be a REM, STP, or Pearl Jam in there, but nothing recent.

Vex Red - Start With A Strong And Persistent Desire
InMe - Overgrown Eden
InMe - White Butterfly
Ours - Distorted Lullabies
AFI - Sing The Sorrow
John Frusciante - To Record Only Water For 10 Days

Wow, far too many to name!

But I'll give it a shot:

Live - Mental Jewelry, Throwing Copper

Pearl Jam - Ten, Vs., Yield, Self-Titled, Benaroya Hall

Radiohead - The Bends, OK Computer (except Fitter Happier), Kid A

Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, A Ghost is Born (except track 11, which ends with about 20 minutes of guitar feedback!)

R.E.M. - Up, Automatic for the People, Out of Time, Green, Around the Sun

David Gray - White Ladder, Life in Slow Motion

Fiona Apple - Tidal, Extraordinary Machine

For Squirrels - Example

Travis - The Man Who

U2 - The Joshua Tree

Blind Melon - Blind Melon

Jeff Buckley - Grace (hey, I dig Corpus Christi Carol!)

Nirvana - MTV Unplugged

Paddy Casey - Amen (So Be It)

Counting Crows - Recovering the Satellites

A lot of people seem to dislike Corpus Chrsti Carol. I love it, I think it's perfect in the flow of the album... it's beautiful, and makes Eternal Life seem even more powerful.
