Ah the song i forgot was shit towne.......

Yep Ed is hairy again. The Event wasnt that shitty, just a little sub par.

Heh, Baltimore seems the place to be for subpar concerts.

First L'Arc~en~Ciel in 2004 (though it was their very first concert out of Japan, so I don't blame them for being nervous), and now Live.

Wow.

Well it's nice to read an objective review for a change. I'm glad I didn't waste my time or money on this show. I don't know what it is about Baltimore but the last show I saw them do there was the reason I decided not to bother going to see them anymore. I hope you get a better show in AC.

Well, every band I like has sucked while in Baltimore, so it's not really just Live.

I have a feeling they will rock Atlantic City.

I've seen some amazing shows by many different bands in Baltimore. I even remember one that Live did a few years back that kicked ass. I even saw a show in the same venue that Live played in last night recently and it was a great show. I personally think maybe the band was a little peeved at the size of the venue and the size of the stage. Certainly not what they are used to, I'm sure. The short setlist might have had to do with the venue's curfew. Bands that play there can get fined if they play past it.

Either way I think it's a shame that the band didn't give their all to those fans that made the trip. It may not be AC but it's still a show that I'm sure many people were looking forward to.

I can't get into the band's head or speak for them, but I would imagine that it would be hard to get up the highest level of enthusiasm when you go from playing in front of literally thousands of loyal and enthusiastic fans in Australia and South Africa on big stages and being a true rock star, and then come to a stage smaller than most high school recitals, with a bad sound and lighting system, in front of a small crowd of drunken assholes shouting "TBD" and "Lightening Crashes" all night, in a little on-story broken down warehouse under the highway overpass.

The way I see it they should play just as good of a show in front of 100 people or 10,000 people. That to me is what makes a "true rockstar." I've seen other bands put on great shows in that very same venue. I'm sure that you can't blame the bad show soley on the venue.

I liked the show. It wasn't their best, but it was still great. My only complaint is that Live fans have gotten taller, and that they did not play Show or Where Do We Go From Here
