QUOTE(Heather @ Nov 9 2006, 11:38 am) *

It's not that I can't go to the show it's just that I don't really have the desire to. I'm bummed that I won't get to meet you though.

But you'll go see Better Than Ezra, probably the lamest concert act going today. I was so disappointed in their performances the two times I saw them.....definitely a CD band. I think its definitely worth seeing Live next Friday, especially if they end up filming a DVD at the show. If that would happen it would make all the fans apart of history. Maggie said Chad something about AC and the DVD, so I feel it is a real possibility.

Also they have mixed the setlist up quite a bit this tour. Heather, when was the last time you heard Iris, Mirror Song, Rattlesnake etc in concert? This could be your last chance to see the band and perhaps be a part of history. Being a long-time fan of Live, I think you really should go. I'm missing a football game and I NEVER do that.....I feel this could be the last chance to see Live.

I will say it is going to be one hell of a show, whether it gets filmed or not. It's probably going to be their last concert in maybe a year or even longer. It's one of only two shows in the country that they're doing on this last leg of the tour. Heather, even though your interest in Live has diminished, in any case I think a concert like this is worth going to if possible and anyone who is going is surely in for a treat. I would also like to meet you and Jen sometime perhaps, too. But either way, decision is yours, but it always sucks to regret not going to something really amazing, and finding out how good it was in the end, and that's basically why I'm making this point, because it would suck if that happened to you (and anyone else).

First, I don't think that this show is going to be anybody's last chance to see Live playing together. I'd like to know just where the heck you got that from. I see no evidence of that. I'm pretty sure Live is going to continue to be around for a while.

Second, as far as filming a DVD at the House of Blues concert, I find that very hard to believe as well. The reason is that the House of Blues is SO protective over their intellectual property rights in their logo, which hangs in huge display behind the stage, that they are more restrictive about photographers getting photo passes than practically any other venue. They don't want anyone capturing images of their logo and using it for any commercial purposes. I would find it hard to believe that they would let Live film a DVD all over that place.

You may be right on both counts, but no one can be sure on either. If Live takes a long hiatus, there is no guarantee they will all come back and continue to be a band. Right now, they are 4 guys with a history, but no label or immediate direction to go in. As for the DVD, if it is going to be filmed, AC would be the perfect place. I guess we'll see.

Its probably not going to be the last show but I don't doubt the possibility of only 5-10 shows a year for the next 5 yrs.

Now that would suck wouldn't it! Does anyone know what time we should expect live to come on? I'm trying to time it right, got a 2 and half hour drive and with Friday nite traffic should be lots of fun. hehe.gif

Hey, all - Pardon the interruption...

yay.gif

Have two extra General Admission tickets to this show. I'm sure it's not sold out yet, but if you are still on the fence about going, or have friends who can't make up their minds, PLEASE think of me first when you/they decide to go. No need to buy the pair. They're not twins and don't mind being split up!

Thanks!!!
