Those were mad good times. All the original members and none of the new ones. I like that idea. If we could have Andrew (Spider) back, too, that would be sweet. Anyone from the old board would remember him.

Yeah, I was actually thinking that. I mean, these boards are pretty dead, so it couldn't hurt to at least test them out and stuff. The only problem is that people's post counts will go up in a rather cheap way (as if they don't already tongue.gif).

agreed...

I was here back in the day, but then my life got busy for a while. Now I'm back and a newbie. Everyone seems to complain that the board isn't exciting anymore. Well, maybe if they'd be a little nicer to the new people and open their minds a little, things would liven up.

I joined this site for the first time back in 2003 , and recently rejoined under a new name. Things have really changed here, it's like some of these newer "Live Fans" just seem to be on here solely for the purpose of being rude to others, and not for the intended purpose of this site. Maybe I'm just to sensitive to things being said online, by people I've never met, but, I really used to enjoy this site , and now it's being ruined by a few extremely rude individuals. If anyone else feels this way post it and let these a-holes know it.

I've been on the site earlier than 2003 (it was 2000, I think?). All I can say is that the rudeness and general discontent on the board has been going on for quite a while now. It's nothing new to most of us.

In "these people's" defense, a lot of the negativity has been influenced by a certain disappointment in the band. I mean, it's hard to spread positivity when you're convinced that the band has lost its creativity to the extent that they are hardly even trying anymore. That's not to say that rudeness should be acceptable...just that it explains at least a small part of the general negative atmosphere.

Just my two cents.

Haha, not that long ago. But after all, I'm talking about the old board here. I think I joined it around 2 years ago. Point is, the old board was more fun. But this place is still my favorite message board, mainly because of the cool people who are still on here from back then.
