Ever heard of places like Adelaide,Perth,Tasmania???All AFL strongholds. The Sydney Swans get bigger home crowds than any other codes sides in Sydney. The same can be said about the Brisbane Lions in Brisbane.4 million in Vic....we're not that much smaller than NSW.And we are the sporting capital of the world.

The facts are there,face it,AFL is by FAR the biggest attended game in the land,1 million fans??? Are you that ignorant up there?

4 million is the population of Vic, 4 million is the population of the Sydney district.

in all other states Proppa Football has as many fans as all other codes. In perth the crowds are equal to the AFL same as in Adelaide, and Brisbane.

I dont care about other codes anyway. When it comes down to it more young people play Proppa Football Nation wide.

Just like every one else. you realise i'm never going to tell you AFL is the best so you give up. You know deep down that Proppa Football is bigger and better than any other code but cause your from Melbourne you have to stay loyal to you code.

Just remember that Melbourne Victory hold the record for the largest home crowd to a regular Match (48 000) to watch Melbourne beat Sydney 3-2. Melbourne hold the record for the Longest unbeaten run 7 Games so far.
And finally Melbourne Fans are the biggest turn around fans in history as they were ready to lynch their coach last season and now they LOVE him because his team cant loose.

Never said that the A-League was bigger I said Football was Bigger. Give it time and it will be bigger than your AFL. You've had the best part of a century to biuld your game were in season 2

What a briliant goal from Bresciano! No wonder he is helping palermo climb to the top of the Seria A.

Other than the two briliant goals ( first goal scored by Aloisi) the game was brought down by bad acting from Bahrain and Poor refereeing from the Arab-Emerites.
We have now secured our place as the First seed in our Group and will now have to face strong opposition fron the Likes of Japan and Korea.

I'm a one eyed supporter. I don't like any other sport, naturally I'm gonna talk shit to people who follow other sports.

But heres some good news for you AFL Fans. Afl is the top sporting Final in Australia followed by Football and Swimming Respectfully.

Alright Football Fans Tonight the Central Coast Mariners take on the Bling (Sydney FC) in a do or Die match. I pick the CCMariners for this one as Sydney failed to Fire even with their Guest star Carbone.

Saturday sees the Ruins of what is Newcastle Jets take on the Haphazard New Zealand Knights. This is the Game that will iether make or break both teams as who ever looses wil be botom of the Table and the Laughing stock of the League.

Sunday is a double header with Melbourne V Adeliade and Perth VQueensland Roar. Melbourne Should Take this Game as the Have their two Socceroos back and even though they are facing probable the strongest team in the League Gold is Gold and I dont see Melbourne loosing for at least 3 more rounds.
Perth V QLD Roar will most likely end in a draw due to the fact that they are so equally matched. but if one team gets an upper hand it will be Qld as they have the best Keeper in the Land.

Friday I was Right. Central Coast made a mockery of Sydney defeating them 3-1

Saturday saw my Boys Newcastle Jets Take their First win From the Struggling New Zealand Knights beating them 3-0

Sunday I was Wrong with Adelaide Taking the 3 points From Melbourne in front of 30 000 people beating them 1-0

And perth Glory went down at home to Queensland Roar 2-1

Fri game Central Coast Mariners V Perth Glory. CCM all the way Perth have fallen of the wagon with a shoddy back line

Sat Sydney V Melbourne. Melbourne but only cause no one likes the Bling

Sun Queensland Roar V Newcastle Jets. Jets Flying high now. close game but an overall victory to the Jets.

Sun Adelaide V New Zealand Knights. Adelaide.
