probably one of the best shows i've ever seen

although...the friend that went with me to the first show went to another one out here and he said it wasn't as great. what's going on?

Ok I think I got one, it's not his most poetic or heart wrenching lyric, but I just love it

The other would be by him, and it's just a little quip at the end of a song, a song where he is as usual, beating himself up the whole way through about never finding love or happiness or whatnot and the last lines are

There is something about it that I love, like he has just explained how horrible his life is and then in the same breath pretty much says "but dispite all that, I still love you more than anyone else ever will, if you pass up on that it's your loss"

You know I'm starting to think it's hit or miss with that band. I've seen them probably seven or more times now and half of those shows were brilliant and mind blowing. The other half were just ok but still better than most bands I've seen live lately. The band just tours SO much that I think they don't always have the energy and Brent doesn't always have the voice to pull off one of the brilliant shows. That's why you need to catch them every chance you get, you never know when you're going to get a mind blowing show. I missed them last time they were around and will never forgive myself!!!!!!!!

Romance wise ~ Babyface is the best lyricist most of those sexy late 80s & 90s R&B hits like "I'll Make Love to You" by Boyz 2 Men and "Breathe Again" by Toni Braxton and Change the World by Eric Clapton, etc. were written by him.
