well, i must admit, they aren't what they used to be...but their still my no.1 band!! there's just noone quite like Ed, his voice, charisma..it just keeps on moving me. I'm just hoping they'll get back to their roots a bit, i hope Ed gets that 'anger' back..

i totally agree with you . But then again i would love them even if they play "poesje mauw"(a Nursery song here in holland) But i`m kinda nuts i guess

Playing 20+ obscure songs a concert won't convert many newbies.

I went to this concert with a norwegian cult band called Raga Rockers. I have seen them twice before, but this time I really listend to their new Best of cd with abbout 30 tracks over and over again, befor the concert. They only played 2-3 songs I had heard before, and even my friend and my brother in law who*s huge fans, said that they had problem to reckoning the songs.
And the concert.....well it eksploded when they play the 2-3 songs I had heard...but then it was finished. So it's not always good to play all the old and obscured songs.

Ofcourse I would like Live to change their setlist more. I miss Waitress, Freaks, Insomnia and even Flow....but I will rather have a Live show with the same setlist, than not have a Live show at all.

Id love more variety in the setlist... but in all honesty id feel cheaed if they didnt play I alone and Lakinis Juice. Personally I couldnt care less for lightning crashes and overcome, but they do well with the rest of the world LOL

I still love them, and call them my favorite band cause I'm a huge dork and extremely sentimental. But if I am honest with myself, if it's all about just the music, it's Widespread Panic.

I just downloaded some Widespread Panic cd's. What is your favotitte W P album.

For me Live is still number one, and I actually don't have a nummber two. I love music and I have a lots of cd's and Lp's. From black metal to pop. And I'm verry fond of heavy metal, but it's Live that gives me the greatest pleasure. So whatever people meaning of SFTBM and Live, I haven't given them up.

Cool! I just saw them in Burlington, VT and here in Manchester NH this week. Now tomorrow it's off to Boston and CT.!! My favorite album? God, that's a tough one. They are all so good! Try Everday, or Don't TEll the Band. Those are good!
