I bet these acoustic performances will be from the Secret Show last year in Holland for the Awake tour. The songs are currently on ITUNES and they are acoustic versions of The Dolphin's Cry, I Alone, and Lightning Crashes. It makes sense that this was not only a recorded performance, but filmed as well.

does anyone else hate dual disc cds? I can't even get them to play in half of my cd players. maybe it's because my cd players are old, but whenever I get one of those things I end up having to burn it to be able to play it in my car or my stereo!

Yeah, hate dual disc Cds, too. I don't have a problem playing them, but the double-sided case always seems to either break or not open properly. Keep it simple, or not at all.

Alot of new CD's can't be played with computers. They often include a DVD with all of the tracks which will play on the computer.

What was the name of the site that had 6 unreleased Live songs available to download. Couldn't download them earlier because my internet was screwing up. It consisted of mallrat, photograph, deeper... 3 others. Thank you.

I think you guys might be confused about the dual discs thing. It sounds like there will be two seperate discs; one with the album and another (DVD) with video footage. I think you're thinking of Enhanced CD's with video footage on the actual audio CD's.

No, DualDiscs are double-sided--a CD on one side of the disc and a DVD on the flip side. I actually don't have any trouble with them in any of my players. Well, except my copy of Dishwalla's Opaline got messed up...my car's six-disc changer scratched up the DVD side (which would have normally been the label).

I'm looking forward to the DualDisc! (And Dan, I heart Quick Edit ).

Would it really kill the guys to throw in a semi-"obscure" song or two? Waterboy. Graze. Feel the Quiet River Rage. Flow. Sweet Release. Any U2 cover.

I tend to think your dedicated fan base would be more apt to buy the dual disc, and they'd appreciate something other than the radio hits on acoustic.

Well, the DualDisc doesn't meet the Red Book specifications for a Compact Disc, so you techinically can't call them a proper CD.

That's why they won't play in most CD players. They're not actual CDs.
