cool dan, tnx! at some point I thought I already heard this one (was it the same as the leaked demo in 2005?). Anyways, without the strings, you can hear the guitars a little more so that's positive to this version. But I think the version with Chris (not (only) because of Chris) was better when you notice Ed's vocals, it's a little rockier.
But thanks for sharing, great to have also this version of Mystery (it will be at the Mystery single, I guess?)

When I originally heard the song I thought they had gone a bit over the top with the strings - it just have that "Live" sound. You're too good to us mate! I can't wait for the next installment.

Kind of. That, along with the other songs they leaked, were all demos. This copy of Mystery is the final mix that was slated to be released on the album. You can definitely notice a difference between the demos of Show, Sofia and Mystery and the final versions. (And Home, too, with the alternate lyrics.)

Thanks, Dan! Sounds great, though I do prefer the strings version. Just don't keep us waiting much longer for the more exciting stuff.
