Agreed I am digging the new Audioslave song.

As for Pearl Jam, Release is a religious experience just in the studio, saw it live, words can not describe!

Release as always been my favorite Pearl Jam song. The first time I heard it, I was in love. Then the first time I saw Pearl Jam (probably 4 years ago now) they opened with it. I was just in awe. omg.gif

new perl jam sleepy time on the rock'n'roll express.

You see the brilliants of Nirvana is that they live on for new fans and dont get old. sure a new greatest hits album is released every few years with the same tracks on it but the new disasociated youth keep buying it. you cant say that about pearl jam.

A 15 yr old kid told me that pearl jam are old peoples music cause his mum listens to it yet he stole her nirvana recocords.

Nirvana of course nothing will beat the alll time grunge band. Nirvana led the revolution that was grunge. Pearl Jam are the coat tail hangers just like all other grunge bands. Even +LIVE+ got their break because their sound fitted what record companies wanted. Its true you Know it.

This does not mean that these bands suck or are crap, it just means that corparations were interested in making money out of grunge.

Who cares if KIDS like Pearl Jam or not. I think it just proves that Pearl Jam are better. Kids, for the most part, are fucking stupid. So what if a fucking 15 year old said he doesn't like PJ cause his mum listens to it. Maybe if she didn't he'd be able to.

Oh, and learn to spell. It's getting progressively harder to understand your posts.

That's actually not true at all. First, there were the lesser-known grunge bands (Green River, Mudhoney, Mother Love Bone, Screaming Trees) who really started it all. They were the REAL grunge at the time. And then, in 1990, Pearl Jam's Ten was the first and the foremost. The album practically launched grunge into full force and the other four major grunge bands (the ones in this poll) pretty much followed in the footsteps of PJ. PJ is mainly responsible for "revolutionizing" grunge, not the overrated blahness that is Nirvana.
