I guess these should be the classics that I can listen to from start to finish.

I can't number them, but top ten anyway.

there are about 50,000,000 other albums out there that make an appearance every now and again but these are my most played albums. they consist some of the best work recorded by them and are the albums i recomend to people who havnt heard much of these bands work.
for good measures id also ad greatest hits albums by THE SMITHS, THE JAM, JEFFERSON AIRPLANE, THE VELVET UNDERGROUND, THE SCREAMING JETS, THE SAINTS AND THE LIVING END.
