Its been called FOOTBALL since it was created in to a game from its origins dating back to the 1800's. So Ill tell you what ill stop calling it football when you can prove that the ogiginal game involving the foot and a pigs bladder in the shape of a ball shouldnt be called FOOTBALL. Also you will Have to convince all but two (2) countries in the world that its not called Football (New Zealand and America)

There is also the fact that our motto in the A-League is "ITS FOOTBALL BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT"

Thursday Morning 3.30am Australia V Kuwait

COME ON YOU AUSSIES!!!!

Tragedy in Kuwait! Australia go down 2-0 to a part time team. the fact that we lost does not mean much as we are already into the Asia Cup. however it goes along way to show us that even the best ranked team in the Asian region can lose.
Both goals were scored within 5 minutes of each other and totally demorilised the Aussie team. we can make excuses about the heat and that many of the players have not played together well, but there is really no excuse for playing a long ball game. This is what caused Australia to lose the game. if we had stuck to a ground game with short quick passes we would have been able to break down Kuwaits defence.
Instead we tryed to play over the top of Kuwait and ran ourselvse ragged before we were able to score.

Kewait played very tight and were lrft unmarked when attacking and wereable to capitilize on their oppitunitties. Australias closest chance at scoring was from debutate Ryan Griffiths who hit the wood work whilst looking at an open goal.

Graham Arnold is going to have to dig deep and really demoralise Bahrain and Argentina if he is going to be able to hold on to the top job as coach of the Australian National Football Team.

They can't even fucking beat Kuwait, so what's the point in talking about them?

Footy finals this weekend

St Kilda v Melbourne
Collingwood vs Bulldogs
Fremantle vs Adelaide
West Coast vs Sydney.

St Kilda should beat Melbourne. You'd think the Bulldogs over Collingwood. I hope Fremantle can beat Adelaide, the crows are pretty injury struck. West Coast and Sydney is a toss of the coin.

when any other Austalian team loses 4kg in 90 minutes of football then I'll consider not talking about them.

in other news tonight sees:

Newcastle Jets V Adelaide in Adeliade. this willbe a great game. Newcastle are working well as a team but Adelaide can be lethal in front of a home crowd. Adelaide are yet to get any points and Newcastle are looking to get more than 1 point on the board so it is going to be a very ruff and tumble game.

Saturday sees Central Coast Mariners V Queensland Roar. CCM are yet to have the impact that they had last season but will be reinforced with the adition of a new potent stricker that has been out injured since last years pre-season cup. The Roar seem unstopable with their ability to turn defence in to attack with one touch of the ball. with a stong defencive line a great keeper (the best in Australia in my opinion) The Roar should win this game but with a close margin 2-1

Sunday sees NZ knights v Melbourne Victory and Perth Glory v Sydney FC. NZ V Melbourne is the match of this round. last years wooden spooners Verses this years strongest team in Attack since they bought 3 brazillians. however the game will be close due to player injury and suspension. NZ will capitilize on the left as Fred (MV) is suspended for three games for violent conduct.
Sydney will fall to perth in another close game due to the fact that their to most important players in mid-field were injured in last weeks most violent clash agains Melbourne.

Get behind the JETS! go boys do us proud!

It was a night of crushed dreams. The Jets were blown out of the water logged stadium on friday night by Adeliade FC. in a heart renching 5-1 defeat.
we played absoulutely crap!!! thats about all i can say about that as it hurts to remember how bably we got our asses kick removed and handed back to us.

In other results

Sydney FC v Perth Glory 1-1
Melbourne Victory V New Zealand Knights 3-0
Central Coast Mariners V Queensland Roar 0-0
