I'm watching it online right now and - I'm sorry, but who died and made Jack Black funny? I'm aware that he was supposed to be being sarcastic and ironic, but he failed miserably. I've only got as far as the 'best male video' and I've already been freaked out by Justin Timberlake... euuurgh - horrid - that haircut makes him look like a child molester. And now 'the award goes to' James Cu... *cough* Blunt.

I fucking give up - I didn't get the Raconteurs either... I don't know if it's worth torturing myself any further.

Yea, I wasn't a big fan of having a house band either, even if they are the "Raconteurs."

As far as Jack Black, I've never gotten him either. I mean he's just obnoxious to me, really. He's not very funny at all. no.gif

Stuck it out and I've just laughed my arse off at Pink being given that awad by Nicole' human lollipop' Richie for her Stupid Girls video. One of the best unintentionally funny moments I've seen in a while.

I liked the treadmill thingy too bounce.gif . To me it was the highlight of that whole friggin show. What if one of them had fallen and broke his arse lol.gif I was scared for them nervous.gif the whole time. But they pulled it off live. Awesome thumbsup.gif

Just watched a portion of it (couldn't avoid, got a teen in the house)

I liked Beyonce's performance.

Chili Peppers were nominated a bunch, did they win anything tho?

I'm crushing on Jack Black, couldn't tell you where the hell that's coming from, strangest thing. He looks like Shrek and I know this. Disappointed by his VMA stint tho, didn't prove to be host material. His style of humor just wasn't connecting with people. I get him and therefore think he's cool as hell but was thinking just about the whole time, man this is coming off mighty lame, people aren't gonna feel this. I'm not surprised that y'all are saying so, I expected the consensus would be he didn't 'rock' at all. He couldn't pull off the show, I still think he's got genius comedy, but that's just me. And evidently only me.

I love Jack Black and Tenacious D too. I'm definately a fan. But i don't think he was the best choice as host for that lame ass show. He's too crazy for them. Jack & Kyle had me cracking up when they did their little segments. He's always cursing out Kyle. So funny! laugh.gif
