I went to this link and its a whole lotta heavy. I sugest people buy the works so that you can read it aloud so you can get a better understanding of what is being said.

I pulled out a great book the day I'd recommend to anybody. The Demon Haunted World:Science As A Candle In The Dark by Carl Sagan. I read it a while back and it's an excellent book full of clear thinking. We need a healthy skepticism more than ever as the world seems to be slipping back into the Dark Ages over the past few years.

Im quite embarrased to admit i really never have read a book. In high school I'd wing it by reading the blurb or watching the movie and writing my essays based on that, and i was an A- english lit student, but i just dont have the patience to read a novel. I have read plenty of film scripts, they just do it for me coz im a film geek.

And on that note i always have wanted to read Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged but guess what.....im gonna wait for the film version that Brad Pitt is desperately trying to get off the ground. nod.gif

Ya know...I did the same thing in high school. Then I got an A and they put me in the honors class. That's when they realized I wasn't an English honors student and bumped me back down. music.gif

Anyways...the only book I read in high school was The Great Gatsby. And, I think it was because I saw the movie and I was intrigued. Then it was easier to follow the book because I had the visual in my mind. tongue.gif

However, as an adult I have learned to really enjoy reading. It's relaxing to me now.
