This did not apply in Vic.......I registered 4 weeks ago with Ticketmaster just so I could get notification about Live tickets, but there has been no notification from them that Live were even coming here to Oz.
I've checked the website daily and there has been NO presale for Palais tickets in Vic.

there is a ticketmaster pre-sale on LIVE tickets on wednesday 16th of August from midday till 11pm in NSW and from 9am till 11pm in w.A. However you have to be a ticketmaster advantage member to take part

I logged to ticketmaster at 9.15 yesterday morning and tried to get a seat, any seat would do, but nothing was available. Then I thought I'd refresh, and it showed a box saying that there was a show on Saturday night, but they weren't for sale, then I refreshed again, and they were now selling Saturday tickets, so I put in what I wanted, got row M for the Saturday night. Cool, I was happy. So I enter my CC details and it bring up a confirmation for the FRIDAY night concert. Weird. Didn't get row M, got Y instead, but any seat is better than no seat.

And YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! That's awesome!

Epicure stand around bagging LIVE every time ive heard them on thriple J so why in hell would you count them asa good support act?

theyre playing at challenge stadium in perth and last time in 03 there was a large mosh pit area coz its like a basketball arena, so im pretty sure its gonna not gonna be just seating this time but i havent checked up on that.

im not rushing to get tickets because last time it was half full

The GA area of Challenge Stadium is ALL seated this time around. In fact every show on the Australian tour is all seated.
Here's the floor plan for Perth.

Firstly, when was that? I've heard a shitload of Epicure interviews on Triple J, and have not heard them bagging out Live once. Not saying it's an impossibility that it happened, but just saying you need to listen to JJJ a bit more or something before saying that. I've listed to, taped, downloaded, whatever'd, almost all interviews with Epicure on JJJ since the BoP tour, and have not heard them have a dig at Live.

If Live's management, tour promo, venues, whatever, are going to only pay them as much as they paid them on the last tour, it's not really all that worth it - they make more money doing their own headline shows in smaller venues. So no, don't count on Epicure for a support, especially when unfortunately that kinda stuff happens.

Back to the CURRENT tour:-
Crossing fingers that the fucking Palais gave us good seats - it's not just $12 per fax jonesy, they charge an EXTRA $12 on top of that to send the tickets out to you!! Methinks Bronnie is going to be bought a few drinks to cover the extra $36. And I swear, if we're given shit seats, I'm going to go Jackie Chan on the grannies that work at the Palais!! hahah

I got pretty good seats for Adelaide. Smack bang in the centre of the stage, 4 rows from the front. Yiihaw!

got my tickets to SYD show sec 5 nice and close but seating so that i can piss off any daft bugger who thinks concerts are for sitting down at!

Further more why do people always tell you that they want to go to a LIVE gig with you after you have already bought your tickets? even after you told them that you were going and asked them if they wanted to come and they cant let you no straight away.

it is my understanding that its an OH&S issue so to minimise the number of people on the floor the book it as seating.
You might be luck to find out that there are no seats on the floor when you arrive!

I spoke to a friend today who has been to the Palais (Melbourne) 3 times for 3 different concerts, and all 3 times, people who were standing were told to sit down,
Seems they're pretty strict about sitting down.
Some of the slower songs, fair enough, but what happens when they play stuff like All over you? You have to get up for that.
