thank u very much for your support....but wut happened to me that has scarred me in many ways happened to me when i was 8 and stopped when i was almost 10.....i did deal with it myself untill about 1year ago i finally told someone wut was bothtering me and i know wut u mean about talking to someone u trust....dealing with something as hard as wut i was at such a young age sent me into a depression as a child...which is not a fun way to spend your childhood years....but i told my best friend and she helped me get over it and now i feel sorry for the person that actually made me feel so hurt...cuz now he is a nobody pretty much a bum and i actually have things going for me in my life, great friends and family, and a great boyfriend.....and a great band to help me when times get rough again

and to LiveRoCks77 i do want to apologize about all the things we have said to eachother and i hope we can at least come to terms with eachother...im not saying we have to be the best of friends or nething just kinda make a truce and leave oneanother alone....u can either throw that in my face and make another one of your rude comments or u can understand where im coming from and come to a truce....w/e u decide really doesnt matter to me....it would just make it a little easier for everyone to get along

Just for the record... i think its not faith in god, but faith in yourself that will get you where you need to be. I am not a religious person.

I am a little worried about liverocks children... i fear they will catch on that he is angry with the world, and that that will make them scared children. Cus children are a lot smarter then we give them credit for, and im afraid liverocks attitude will leave scars on them. I want to ask him, on their behalf, to think about working through it. All in good time though. You will know when the time is right.

I appreciate your sentiment, but I view things much differently than you do. You see, fact is, the world is a scary place. I am fully aware of how smart young children are. I educate my eldest daughter on the pitfalls of the world and I know some of these realities have scared her. But these things are reality, not just mine, but those of the world we live in. That is fact. Sheltering her from that reality would be a great disservice to her in future endeavors. But at the same time, I teach her to be god fearing and compassionate. To love and not to hate. But at the same time, to keep a keen eye for the snakes that await her.

I need to work through nothing. I am extremely intelligent and do a hell of a job raising my children. My eldest, at 10 years old, is brilliant academically. At her recent EQAL testing, she ranked in the top 4 percent in all major subjects in the entire country for her age group. Socially, she is a bit shy due to her being much taller then almost all children her age at five foot three and having just turned ten years old. But she still does well with other children. Not once in her life have I heard this child swear and all her peers describe her as extremely intelligent and well mannered. So don't worry about my children, they will be well prepared for what the world has to offer. I encourage independence and when the time comes, she will be more than able to follow whichever path she chooses, whether it be influenced by me or not.

it is great to see poeple who strive to be the best they can and try to help those around them to live happier lives through possitive re-enforcement. however people who are so angry inside need to jump side ways and reliase that the reason people gun them is that they bring it on them selves.

if you are interested in helping your comunity there is a book called "how to change the world for 10 bucks" it helps people to change there community through small steps. simple things like talking to your neighbours or using energy saving light bulbs, righting to members of parliement to let them know what your community wants.

and to all those angry young and old people out there do somethingnice for one person and see how it feels.

The world is a scary place indeed, and you need to prepare your children for that. On the other hand the world is more then just that. Also has a lot of good people in it. I guess its all about balance. If you can teach them about the good as much as you can teach them about the bad without making them crawl up under the covers afraid of real life, then youre doing a pretty good job. It sounds like you got that down alright :-)
And their paths will always be influenced by you... you are the most important person in their lifes, you are their parent. If i am ever so lucky as to get children i want to be a positive influence on their lives. I do know thats a hell of a lot easier said then done, and i applaud anyone that does a decent job of it. Hats off.
