Bono single-handedly convinced the G8 members to instantly eliminate the national debts of the 30 poorest nations in the world. He's also doing his best to combat African poverty, famine and disease.

If none of that is hero-worthy, I have no idea what is.

not singlehandedly...bob geldof and live 8 helped him aswell... nod.gif

Well, first things first...hero is a broad term. Bono I'm sure influenced Ed's music, and is a hero to Ed in his profession. Nothing to do with religion, but because we're dealing with a broad phrase unlikely names will be grouped together. Nothing but a product of what we call the English language.

Second of all, these sorts of things vary to different people. If I had to make a list of heros in my life Derek Jeter would be way way WAY above any religious figure. And considering I'm living a very happy life, and it doesn't affect anyone else's life, that fact shouldn't even rub anyone the wrong way. Different strokes for different folks.

I don't mind too much about where I can find him on the internet, as long as he can be found on the internet and it keeps on being inspiring.

I have tried to find him on zaadz.com, but I didn't find him yet.

I scrolled through the site and I'm not sure about it.

They say that you have to empower your friends and relatives to join that club and to change the world on their way too.

Okay, their ideas are not bad, but I like to give my friends the freedom and the space to change the world in their way if they want to.

Wheather that is hero worthy or not I guess is debateable, what isn't debateable is that Bono's musical talents are beyond overrated.

This zaadz thing also just seems like another "interlectual" internet wankfest. oo I'm loaded with bitterness today.

Amen.

And he's a bloody hypocrite.
He preaches about Make Poverty History, yet look at how much U2 concert tickets are.
Fuckin Bono. Stupid arse.

Actually, U2 makes next to shit on concert tickets. It's still a lot compared to most bands, but still...

Also, Bono is the best vocalist of all time. That's also not debatable.

Their shows are always huge and I think very expensive to make!
But that's what you tried to say already, hey?
