Hmmmmmmmm,
I live 15 minutes from the Rockfest and my brother lives right across the field from the Rock Fest.

It is out in the middle of nowhere, and I mean nowhere. Nothing but farmland and cows. It is actually a very disgusting atmosphere, drunken and lude behavior abounds. There is no close seating to the stage at all, at best you will have to watch the band via a big screen monitor. I am sure I'll have to beak down and go since it is so close, but I am dredding it! I hope some other Live fans will make the trip up to Wisconsin for the show! I don't see how Live fits into the RockFest, they usually only have 80's washed out Rock bands.

I'd go there for KISS and Live alone.

But Live is going on the stage before Poison? I thought they broke up. Last I heard, Bret Michaels was doing country music.

On a monitor? uhoh.gif

Is it not like Summerfest where you can get there early and get a spot right infront of the stage?

No NOT like Summerfest at all. I'd take summer fest over this venue anytime even though I live so close to it, the 5 hour drive to Summerfest is well worth it!!!!!!!!

Does anybody know how much it costs to get in? No camping, just wanna watch the show. I looked on the site and it said it was $70 for one day, per person. There's no way that's right. 70 dollars! I'll probably just email them, but if anybody knows...

Festivals, especially multi-day ones, aren't cheap.

Especially the bigger-named ones.

Sadly, it appears that is what they actually do cost. uhoh.gif

Must include booze... happy.gif

That's almost insane though. Summerfest is only 18 dollars, free if you bring canned foods or Piggly Wiggly receipts. I guess if you really liked everybody that was playing a certain day, it wouldn't be too bad...but who's dying to see Live, Staind, and Poison? Staind and Live maybe...

It's not really too big of a problem for me though. The show in Indiana the day before is actually closer to me than this one (I live near Milwaukee). And that one's FREE!
