Wow, I was actually able to register for the stupid site, so I'm starting the download now. I love how the info says it's 320 kbps MP2, when it's FLAC.

Congats on getting an account at Dimadozen - if you're into concert recordings then DaD is like a treasure trove smile.gif

I believe that digital radio in Europe is broadcast in the MP2 format (at 320kbps), so even though the file format says FLAC, the source is a compressed signal. This is just speculation though, you might want to ask the taper for more details.

Yeah, I was finally able to grab the Palladium DVD. It was the first time I've ever tried burning a DVD and thankfully my DVD player recognized the DVD+R. So I'm watching that right now (they're finishing up Sofia)...awesome stuff.

The site's search functionality could be better, though.

The Palladium show is fantastic. I'm glad that your DVD player was able to play a PAL format disc. - a lot of people in the USA have issues playing PAL stuff.

I agree, the search facility isn't the best - espescially when searching for Live material. Perhaps seeders should include some text like "kowalczyk" or 'dahlheimer' in their decscriptions which would make searching for Live all that much easier...

Yeah. My DVD player is natively Region 1, but there was a hack that I input through the remote that enabled multi-region support, so that wasn't a problem.

There is some nice stuff on the site, so I'll make sure to keep an eye on it.

I got permission from the taper to upload mp3's of this recording to the site, so keep an eye out for them very soon.

Try searching by using a song title in quotations, such as "lightning crashes". When you do this, you will get several Live concert downloads.
