Um... everyone DOES realize it's still the distance, not a new song right?

Yeah? That and the alternate versions of Vine Street, Face and Ghost and Walk Into This Room that were featured in the newsletter months ago. It's all still stuff we want and it's been a tough wait! I'm sure there are other things, too...full band Overcome, perhaps?

TDTH is my all time favorite album, so I'm especially interested in the alternate cuts and outtakes from it.

I remember Dan said that he wasn't posting these just yet because the cover contest entries were taking up all of the space on the server. Well, those are gone, so how about some goodies now?

Yeah, I'd be interetsed in more alternative cuts of TDTH too, I have Meltdown, and used to have Sparkle...

sorry, its just that from the comments some people made, it implied that people were thinking this was an entirely new song..

Movie companies make trailers and teasers for upcoming movies, so I kinda associate what I'm doing to something like that. You don't get mad at movie companies for posting movie trailers, so please don't get mad at me for posting these short clips. If I knew this would make people mad or bitter then I wouldn't have posted anything at all. My apologies. Hope you understand.

but you're not a movie or a record company. you didn't put time or effort in the process of making those songs you have. you don't have a business to rule and you don't need to earn money to make your company survive. most of all you don't need to make trailers or teasers to make people here wanting to hear those songs you have.

man, we're all addicted to +LiVe+. we don't need a 5 second sample to know we want to hear the whole song. just pronounce the word 'change' or 'new city' to make everyone here go crazy nuts.

I can remember, back in the secret samadhi days, when hardcore fans ruined themselves by uploading studio outtakes, live versions of unreleased numbers or even full concerts with a 56k modem and a limited 10 hours per month internet access subscription.

imho, releasing one full song per month would have been a better move to make everyone happy.

we're on the internet. we don't need to wait for a trailer to surface to watch the whole movie if we really want to. and even before it's out in theaters most of the time... but that's another debate.

Personally I could do with or without these songs- though I can understand why a lot of people here might be really interested in them, I would have been a few years ago.

I doubt he'd have put the four clips out at all if he had no plans of releasing the songs. THAT would piss everyone off. He shared the alternate cuts of She and Everytime I See Your Face, didn't he?
