I must admit, I was a little resistant to anyone taking or at least trying to take Christopher Reeves place, especially since he died. But I gotta say the movie was awsome. I loved it yahoo.gif . And after months of making fun about Brandon Routh to my coworker ( he's a huge comic book fan ) I take it all back. He was grrrreat. And sexy as hell as superman.

Batman is still my fav comic book hero ( Superman's personality is a little too nice )
and Christian Bale sure did me proud as Batman. happy.gif

Go see this movie folks. It was very entertaining. As for me, Brandon Routh inlove.gif . I now have another man to drool over. And I know you will too ladies, by the end of the movie eyebrow.gif Good times!!!!

Superman's not my kinda superhero - he's just not dark enough. I'm more of a The Crow kinda girl. So meh - I'll probably see it when it gets released to TV in about 5 years.

As for Brandon Routh... too stereotypically good looking for me and I've always preferred my rock stars to actors. I don't even fancy Johnny Depp.

That's exactly what I thought before I actually saw the movie. Believe me I did not want to like this guy but he was great thumbsup.gif

I agree, that's what I thought too. I made so many jokes about him, dissed him, mocked him to my coworkers and friends but after seeing him in the movie i just fell in love despite his fault of being so damn stereotypically goodlooking lol.gif

Yeah I just saw it last night, they did a really good job and superman/brandon is great, was always going to be tough to carry on after Chris.

Not that I'm much into the superhero/comic book flicks, but i'm really happy with the way they've done the whole batman/superman/spiderman things these days smile.gif

Batman > Superman

But Kevin Spacey as always did a stand up job. He had Gene Hackman's character perfect, and then some .. but what I loved was how he was almost a comedy villian who was doing his own thing throughout the movie and didn't seem at all too stressed about Superman, then towards the end he just turned absolute fucking badass psycho.

It's not on the next page yet, so I'm bumping, just because I feel like it.
Why? I'm bored. GO TEAM SUNDAY MORNINGS!

Brandon Routh = One fucking HOT Superman. REOW!!

The movie = Everything was done well. Casting. Effects.
....the bit that failed? The bloody story line!
Fucking BORING ARSE movie!!

I walked out of that cinema feeling really bloody empty. It never went anywhere. It was boring. Nothing really happened - we were WAITING for something to happen, but it never eventuated.. Damn.
