We're hearing both sides here, but there is a lot of obvious disappointment to many in that they don't feel this cd is on the same level as previous releases. I like it, a lot, but I can respect the opinions of those who do not. Wonder if we could agree on one angle, however? In an effort to see if any of the local radio stations play the Ed/Chris/Live version of Mystery or the cd version of Mystery, I have been listening to the radio a fair amount today. For me, there are very few, if any, bands on the alternative rock and mix stations which can compare to Live, even if the cd was considered not the best. The vocals I heard on a lot of the songs played, just couldn't compare to what Ed does and the bands just don't sound as full. I guess I'd take Live's cd's at any level over what I'm hearing on these stations. Fortunately for me, I love the new cd, so now that I've had all I can take of radio for today, I'll listen to SFBM again!

So, after having a downloaded copy of SFBM for months, I decided to actually buy a copy. I placed my freshly purchased CD into the player in my BMW's high-tech CD player, which has never had ANY problems. As I drove around Los Angeles, listening to my new disc, the CD player decided it had about enough "melodic pop" and euphemisms for "love" as it could take. When it got to "Love Shines," the stereo switched to the radio, without warning and for no apparent reason. Thinking I hit something, I started it over, this time it played about half the song, and then it switched away again. Then I figured the CD was defective, so I took it back to Best Buy, where they exchanged it. Shockingly the player did it again, but this time at Sofia. My CD player hates Songs from Black Mountain.

Don't know what your problem could be. Unless you're having one of the problems listed in the Wiki article.

Sony has quit with anti-pirating technology until further notice.

Yep, it made people's computers vulnerable to viruses.

Also, while I'm in this topic, I still haven't found a copy of SFBM anywhere.

Because I can't. No credit card, for one. No money, for two.
