What was the story with Hold Me Up on the Media Five site? I missed that story entirely

You can read about it here: Hold Me Up (studio) - see my post on Page 3.

Thank you so much! Best thing that we (you) came across in a long time.

Imagine being at that show, as a fan in 1998. 12 of the 16 songs were just.. unreleased. That’s like a full new album at the time.

If only a TDTH25 edition would be happening in 2024, with this show and all the unreleased studio tracks or at least demo’s. Too bad I don’t thing anything LIVE related will be released in the years to come.

Could you imagine being a casual fan at this show, and how disappointed they must have been? "They didn't even play Lightning Crashes!" One man's trash is another man's treasure.

I didn't expect to ever hear this. Sounds on par with all the other cool shit that never made TDTH. That bridge is so sick. What an era for the band that was.

Dan has done it again yay.gif

As most the others were there is hope but I guess Ed needs to approve and he is so unavailable it seems

However I also love Change as it has the, for the time, typical shift in tempo going down and then BAM rock uptempo.
New City is also a great song and I would run my legs of to buy the 25 anniversery CD if it had all of them; Still Aroused, Deeper, Don’t wait, New City, Change and Walk into this room (did I miss any?)

Wow, I did not expect to ever hear this song! Thanks so much for sharing, Daniel! Let's hope for a TDTH 25th anniversary release although it seems unlikely at this point.

Is there any good program to improve the sound of this recording of New City and Change ?

It is so strange Live don’t release those songs from 1998 on a Distance to Here deluxe version..

Call it a stretch, but I'm betting Ed is saving those songs for the 30th anniversary of The Distance to Here. Unless Chad Taylor has the masters, which if that were the case, that's a problem.
