Quite a big tour of Canada. I don't remember "Live" doing so many dates there.

Any idea what the venue sizes are like?

Born, raised and live in Nova Scotia.

Scotiabank Centre holds 11,093
Moncton's Avenir Centre holds 8,800 (Moncton is about 2.5 hours away (by car) from Halifax)

Kind of surprised they're touring this much of Canada, but they are touring with Big Wreck which is a much beloved Canadian/American band up here.

Too bad it's not the original line up anymore, but I don't want to involve myself in the drama.

Not nearly here as much as I use to be but still lurk on this forum from time to time, thanks for keeping it alive.

Canada has always been good to Live, they come back often, 2 shows in Quebec in cities that are only 2 hours 30 min apart. Unless there's a huge upgrade or a new release, I'll skip this tour, but just wish Ed can be more creative and not just going through the motions like this summer.

Change is a constant in life. The only drama comes from old fans that can't accept change.

Live is a 40 year old legacy band. The fact that there's still a version of the band out on tour is pretty amazing.

I'd never heard of the band, but I just checked out the first song that appeared on YouTube ("That Song") and it's pretty good. My type of music.

I thought Big Wreck toured with Live back in the 90's on the Secret Samadhi tour, but apparently I'm mistaken. They have played along with Creed, Dream Theater, and several other famous acts, which I didn't know.

I got really into Big Wreck a few years ago thanks to a thread in the other music channel on this board. Their 3 EP's 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 are absolutely stellar. I made them into a playlist and listen to it at least once a week, so shout out to whomever on this board recommended them (I went back and looked - thank you JonSnow!). They have a new record coming out on 10/14 called The Rest Of The Story. I'm looking forward to it.

I highly recommend checking out the albums "In Loving Memory of.." and "Albatross", just to get you started on them.
