After spending a gruelling 2024 on tour, Live will get a well-earned rest, but what is next for Live?

New album?
New EP?
Third release from Goose Blackstone and claim it's Live?
Another tour with a 90's band? (It's been a while since we've had a co-headlining tour with Counting Crows or Collective Soul)
Planning for the 31st anniversary Throwing Copper tour?

They were 2 of my favourite 4 bands ever....

Mini tour in late December through February.

Release of another, single song under the Live banner in March, possibly a cover

North American tour in the summer with another 90’s band

Set list next year will be largely the same as this year’s but with the new song added and one or two of the “deeper cuts” shuffled out

International tour in the fall.

To have the new setup playing 90% of the real band’s songs make it a cover band. Based on the fucked up history of this great band I am still happy there is still a band Live and that Ed wants to continue but they should really release new a new album to get away from being a cover band.

I believe the plan is to finish the album later this year, and tour behind it in 2025.

Release an album that just sounds like an Ed solo album, and then tour it with a greatest hits setlist and 80 minute shows, playing one song from the new album.

Saw them when they toured with Counting Crows had tickets for their tour with Bush but couldn’t go. Would love to see them tour with Toad the Wet Sprocket.
