I don't know how many of you caught this show when it aired, some 10 years ago, but MTV used to do these shows called "Past, Present, and Future". They did them for Nirvana, Pearl Jam... and many other bands in the 90's. They did one for Live at one point and I remember catching it near the mass-hysteria of Throwing Copper. Does anyone have this show on tape or even remember it at all? I'd love to get a copy of it... I mean, at one point, the guys are running around the hallways of York High.... that's all.

Yes, I have it. It was pretty good, telling the start/history of Live through Throwing Copper. The interview took place in York and the band went around the town showing places they worked, middle school, high school, etc.

I have recorded pretty much everytime Live has been on TV since 94. There was also a discography that MTV did and all the 120 minutes interviews. The Secret Samadhi interview was pretty funny. And VH1 did the Before They Were Rock Stars and the LC pop up video. I've been working on getting them all burned to a DVD, but it's a slow process. If I ever get it all done, I'll share.

Ahhh, 120 minutes.... those were the good old days. I breaks my heart a little, each time I see Matt Pinfield hosting a show on VH1.

Wow I just found an old VHS with a shitload of Live stuff on it (some of it pretty rare), including Past, Present, Future. I can't even list all the stuff that was on it - it's about 3 hours worth. I'm going to do my best to get this onto a DVD and then on my computer. omg.gif

I used to have a VHS like many on here talk about. All the videos, 120 minutes appearances, SNL, interviews, the VH1 Hard Rock Live, and of course, Past, Present, and Future... Unfortunately, with many moves since the tape bagan, I've lost it... along with similar tapes of many other bands...

le sigh

Course, if any of you that have a VHS like this... know anyone with a DVD recorder.... that can do VHS-DVD.... that would be the easiest. There are also places out there that will do it for you. Course, I have the DVD recorder... just no tape :-(
