I can't tell what overheads he's using and they never show the kick, but I'm 99% sure that for the toms they're using the Sennheiser MD-421 II, and for the snare they're using a Shure Beta 57a.

Those Senns are $400 a pop and the 57a is about $150.

Also, notice that for the LJ video he's got a new snare compared to the other videos. He switched from the DW Ti snare to a DW Brass 4x14.

I love that all this gear, drums included, is prosumer level and mostly affordable these days.

Has Chad ever mentioned which songs are the most physically demanding to play? White, Discussion has to be high on the list. I feel tired just watching that! Absolutely bad ass. I bet it was easier for him to play in his 20s than it is now but he's still killin' it!
