Oh well. There are always personal playlists with various recordings already out in the wild. A double release with a full album's (double album?) worth of b-sides, demos, etc would be a hell of a way to celebrate both albums.

I imagine there are far less embarrassing and constructive ways to market themselves than airing dirty laundry and firing lifelong bandmates. I guess anything that's theoretical could be possible, but... why? The only reason you'd do something like that is to troll fans, and it'd be a lot more tongue in cheek and a little more obvious that it's a troll attempt.

The shit that got put out there has lingered like a nasty fart cloud in a cramped elevator that no one really wanted to own up to. I doubt they teach this in marketing 101.
