So is this the podcast or is this something else apart from the podcast?

Obviously I'm interested in listening to whatever they choose to talk about, but how can they expect people to not ask questions about this, that, and the other when it comes to how the last 10 years or more unfolded the way they did, especially considering how things came out 2 or 3 weeks ago and considering that was supposedly the impetus for the podcast

I think initially they might've wanted to air dirty laundry in the podcast however have elected to avoid it upon reflection.

I know for the fandom on this board that's disappointing but I think there's reasons of 'not going there'.

On a positive, it would be great to see CAG jump on the kit during this chat.

I think you are correct about the 180, although I really wonder how much self reflection (and by that, I mean all four guys, including the new guitarist) about the decision to change the premise of the podcast. We are not blind— I can’t be the only one who saw Matt Gracey’s criticisms on Facebook comments about how this all went down. It was quite messy (embarrassing for them) how it all came out. Whose decision was it to let it all come to light in social media comments? Did Ed support the way it was leaked? Do they even talk yet? I mean, I still get the impression of a disconnect amongst the remaining members. —In those rehearsal videos, is Ed even there, or is it just Gracey with Hynes (I’m assuming) recording? Whose team is Pat on? Last I saw in FB comments, it was said he was Team Taylor. —Didn’t anyone else see that? Who is the new guitarist? Once again, I’ve only seen through, surprise!!—> Facebook comments!, that it is Loy. So, when will the official announcement of new guitarist be made? And by announcement, I mean professionally, by the official Līve account and not through IG or FB comments. When will we hear from CT? Why has Ed gone silent again?

It’s all still super confusing and super sloppy and once again, fans are left hanging with TONS of questions. But we, “the fandom on this board” get that passive aggressive comment/label. As if, we are the ones who should be ashamed of ourselves. HA!!

Bill leaked the band's business in the other thread, and claimed it was his own decision to put it out there. Pat is on Taylor's side? It's so lame how updates play out in Facebook comments of all places. We could use some screenshots of any updates.

Maybe they can plug n play a guitarist or get another singer to mimic Ed's inflections, but the heart/pulse of any band is always the rhythm section. It's what drives the songs. So any iteration of Live that doesn't include both PD and CG will always feel off to me. They're peanut butter & jelly. Pepperoni and pizza. They just go together (love will lead them, alright... if they can just hear the dolphin's cry). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The idea of PD being "on team Taylor" is so odd, especially if it was PD's wife who was assaulted. I can understand believing lies, being manipulated, or even just staying under someone's thumb because they don't do well with confrontations. But seeing someone punch my wife in the face would fucking send me into the red. It sure as shit wouldn't lead to my being up the dude's ass and on his team. And that was something that happened before the reunion so even after that happened PD hung around.

But that's just me with my non-computational brain.
