Secret Samadhi - 25th Anniversary release, What do you want to see? Options

In what form are they back, really? Will we hear something official?
I mean, they might be as ‘back’ as last three years but with one guitarist leaving. It’s time to clear the air.

Ps. I don’t expect anything around the SS anniversary anymore at this point.

The 25 year anniversary date was February of this year, not next year. The time to have done something, if something had ever been planned to begin with, has already passed. They could do a 30 year thing, but that wouldn't be for another 5 years and is an odd number to celebrate.

Throwing Copper is their most iconic work so for that album to be the only album to get a 25 year anniversary is kind of fitting, but they could still issue a remastered version of Secret Samadhi and include b-sides without making it an anniversary thing if they wanted.

Or if they really want to put out another anniversary package they could wait and re-release a remastered version of both Secret Samadhi and The Distance To Here together on TDTH's 25 year thing. The contrasting aesthetic makes sense too considering SS's relatively subdued darkness and TDTH's bright energy, not to mention the contrasting album covers. They could actually release it as a triple release with a b-sides album made up of remastered or even re-recorded versions of songs left off both those albums.

But that's a gianormous pipe dream that would require a lot of hurdles to be hurdled. Not a likely scenario right now.

These are my exact thoughts. I think this would generate more buzz. SS alone probably wouldn't be worth the $ for the band.
