Jimmy is enjoying the quieter things in life, he's married.

He did photograph one or two Live shows on the West Coast with Live, Bush, Our Laday Peace.

Yeah I remember reading those old "Straight Outta York" email digests he put together back in 1994-1995 (iirc) and I became an Our Lady Peace fan because he recommended their first album Naveed in one of the issues. I wish I had thought to save some of those old "SoY" emails...would be fun to read through some now.

Meanwhile on a distant planet, Michael Railton is hooked up to tubes and machines and amassing an army while his original body rebuilds.

Once Live gets on the road again he'll return to the stage, surprising an unexpecting Ed with "I THOUGHT YOU ALWAYS had to have a guy from Liverpool in your band..!" and a new threat will rock the boys from York, PA once more.

I really enjoyed the era that he performed with Live. I realize that he went off the rails, pardon the pun. I would love to see a keyboard player re-enter the mix for the band's live performances

After 16 years of school you would think that you would have at least earned a bit of a step up from a Freshman lol

Aren't the court-documents from the Live vs Kowalczyk lawsuit publicly accessable?
Wouldn't those give us some indication who in Live started this thing in the first place?
Or am i being criminally naive? xD

What was interesting, both in the 2010 documents and this, was the order that the hit songs were listed:

These seven albums have sold
many millions of copies worldwide, and featured numerous smash hit singles, including
"Lakini's Juice", "Lightning Crashes", "Selling The Drama", and "All Over You".

What do you guys think, did Lakini's Juice outsell Lightning Crashes ? Lakini's Juice was never released as a single in the USA. Thoughts??

If CT's ego wasn't in the way and he looked at it from a business point of view the fact that Ed was out there touring with the Live brand name would have been promoting and selling the Live brand for free if you look at it from a business point of view that's free advertising! But from an ego narcissist's point of view it was like he wanted to squash Ed

Just a thought

It does look like such a petty lawsuit, this being the second one filed.

I don't think I would personally care if my former lead singer was out there using the band name in advertising.

Obviously going back in time there was a lot of animosity happening between CT and Ed.

This is getting my post numbers up yay.gif yay.gif yay.gif lol.gif

I think this was written by an attorney who was just providing a baseline of information for anyone who read the brief. I doubt said attorney requested official figures for hit songs; rather just named a few that maybe people would know.

It was, although I don't think it was in the US. But I remember the article from Guitar Magazine in 1997 with EK and CT on the cover where it mentioned the song being added to radio playlists faster than any other single at the time. Not verbatim, but I think that was the jist.

But it was definitely a radio single and had a video.

I’m pretty sure it was a single in the US.

All Over You, for example, wasn’t a single but gained radio airplay.

Well, Lakini's Juice hit #1 in the US Modern Rock charts.
