Looks like Big Wreck put out a new EP on Friday with 5 songs:

I don't remember being a fan of their music when they toured with Live back in the day, but this is pretty good from the small bits I've heard. I'll have to give it a good listen this weekend.

I was curious why they named it "7.2" and it turns out they released an EP in November called "7.1", so they've released two 5 song EP's in the last 8 months, which I think is genius.

They've put out about 4 full length albums since 2012. Grace Street is probably my favorite. Here's a live performance of Ghosts off that album:

I thought Big Wreck toured with Live around 1997 with the release of Secret Samadhi. I swear I saw them with Live back in the day and that's the only window where that would have been possible, since they broke up in 2002 until 2010. I can't find anything on setlist.fm, so I might be losing my mind.

Big Wreck 7.3 was released in March and I just found it today after the drummer posted a behind the scenes video of their recent theater tour.

This release is a lot more mellow than 7.1 and 7.2, and for that fact alone, to me, it's the weakest of the 3 EP's, but I bet I could take all 15 songs and make a pretty legit album, since 7.1 and 7.2 are fantastic.
