Fabricating documents? Why didn't anyone do their due diligence. Why couldn't Ed simply prove that documents were fabricated. We don't have enough information for any of this to make sense.

But then Chad said that Ed sat CCP down and gave them all an ultimatum.

Chad wrote that in the mid 2000's that Ed said he wanted to make all the music from now on, and they either had to get on board or he would go solo. That's something that would be straight from Ed to the entire band.

No. What is true. Chad would start to tell everyone he wrote “all the hits” and tried to take credit for songs that Ed 100% wrote. All Ed wanted was to be rightfully credited for the songs he wrote. And Chad also tries to tell everyone it’s “his band” like he owns the whole thing. When he doesn’t.

However chad demanded that he got paid more than gracey and Dahlheimer and took 5% equity in the band from both of them. He bullied them to do it.

No, CG was willing to keep the personal stuff personal and move on and play the drums. CT because of his guilt tried to get gracey removed from the band. He tried to once again be a bully but that gig is over.
At that time when CG said that. For sure they planned to. But other things happened so they decided to not play in 2022.
The “other” stuff that happened. I have no clue. That’s an internal band issue.

You know, I just read through this again ( it's all a lot to take in ) and it really pisses me off to find out that all of these allegations about Ed and why the band "broke up" was just made up bullshit. When all of that happened, it really diminished my opinion of Ed. It made me hate him and to find out now that it wasn't true is just .... Well, I'm not sure what it is. Looks like I directed that energy toward the wrong person. What a sordid, sad series of events.

I 100% agree with you. In April of 2016, I went to breakfast with Ed and personally apologized to him. After getting to know Ed and clearly knowing CT. It became very apparent who the problem was and is. The problem was never Ed. Gracey would verify this as well. Taylor did a great job of pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes. He is a narcissist.

Also, Chad has been quoted several times saying that Ed wrote these songs. It's literally written in a letter to the fans that Ed had written the hits. Chad credited himself for writing things like the Lakini's juice riff. All he ever argued for publicly was that Live was a collective sound and that Chad, Chad and Gracey brought their musical talents to the table, and had some involved in the writing process to make it a complete sound in many of the songs. He never took writing credit publicly for the hits saying they were his.

Songwriting credits were a huge focus of the first breakup and the credits were all hashed out for the fans. Ed wrote the majority of the shit, CCP put their spin on alot of it, and it became a beautiful thing known as Live. Again, this was all hashed out after the first breakup.

Maybe I didn’t explain myself properly. He wouldnt publicly say this stuff. He would say it to various people. In business settings, to bankers, lawyers, potential investors. Whoever would listen to him. He would tell them “I allow these people to exist, they are all small fish swimming in my pond”. Well that kind of stuff gets back to people.
Gracey and Dahlheimer weren’t reading or paying attention to what Chad said. They became numb to a point. It was like “that’s Chad being chad”.

I don’t think CG cares. Because he knows it’s the truth. I think Ed would rather just be at peace and keep to himself and not have any drama in his life. PD rather be fishing, camping or playing bass somewhere and not in drama. And Taylor can’t exist without drama. But at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter to me what any of them want or think because this is my story to tell and they are welcome to tell their story. But I won’t sit by and had a good man like Ed be bashed for doing nothing wrong. I won’t have a good man like gracey be bashed for also doing nothing wrong. It’s not fair.
Everyone is afraid of chad taylor. I’m not that guy.
