Well, Bill was convicted of a felony related to check-kiting scheme in 2009. If that's true, then it wouldn't be wrong to say he did some criminal stuff.

As for the new trial - we will see. I won't say either way right now, but it seems like there's alot of different charges against him. The last thread was shut down about Bill's pending charges, we wanna make sure Bill has a fair day in court, but again we will see.
As for Taylor - nobody is admonishing him right now. But you're basically condemning him without hearing his side of the story. If history proves anything on this message board - we have to wait to hear the rest before we make a decision. We tend to side against Bill because he has a history of lashing out and criminal acts, and we have no idea why Live ever had to get involved with him in the first place.

I bounced a check in 2008. It wasn’t a check kiting scheme. The check was paid back within 2 days of noticing the error. It was initially just charged as a misdemeanor offense and to your point, my big mouth got me in trouble as I yelled at the detective and then the DA. Which made matters much worse and then they upgraded the charge to a felony. And I was not allowed to have a jury trial.
Personally. If a man can identify as a woman. I do not identify as a felon for bouncing a check and made good within two days over 14 years ago.

So this is part of the comments that were deleted I assume. I obviously got to the post too late as I didn't see this either. Very interesting to say the very least and I really sort of feel bad for speculating but if these innuendos are truth then it isn't really hard to put two and two together. Additionally, the thought is appalling. Like, seriously appalling. Who knows ? We may never know and honestly we shouldn't know. I guess we'll see what shakes out with this podcast. The guitarist of Live is the Yoko ono of Live. He caused the band to break up the first time. With false allegations against Ed. He's a narcissist, bloviating pathological liar that gaslighted Gracey and Dahlheimer over the years.
Back during the first breakup Taylor showed Gracey, PD and I "evidence" about Ed. But it was all fabricated and spun. But I didn't know Ed at all at that time. I was supporting my friends.
After the band got back together in 2016, I got to know Ed and it was quickly apparent who the problem was. Further, I personally apologized to Ed regarding the comments I made and my actions during the first breakup. I was man enough to admit to him that I was wrong for just going along for the Chad Taylor ride and just assumed what he said was true.
Taylor, has jealousy issues. He needed to take credit for writing songs he just didn't write. He would embellish numbers and tell people his band sold over 30 million albums and made 1.2 billion dollars. All false. He found is necessary to sleep with one bandmates wife and also find it necessary to get drunk and punch another bandmates wife at the Baltimore Marriott hotel. In front of many people I might add. In both situations he actually blamed their wives. "She made me F her" and "she made me hit her".

many of the current fans complain way too much, have a sense of entitlement. Heck, I think some feel they should have the bands social security numbers, credit score and blood types. Nothing lasts forever. Enjoy what the band previously gave you. Anyone that thinks the band should "work out their differences" are extremely selfish. If your coworker and best friend banged your wife or punched your wife in the face. Are you working that out? To expect them to put differences aside and work together is ignorant on your part. They will need to process and heal on their own time. And that time may never happen.
It's great that people want to read news articles and pass judgment prior to a person having their day in court. People did the same thing to Johnny Depp. It's society I guess.
But the Alan Hambys, Cindy's, Brett Grubergs of the world like to think they can anonymously post and talk crap about someone. Heck even Chad Taylor has fake accounts on here singing his own praises and starting crap. He's that type of narcissist.
Someone just posted the blog post he wrote in 2004. That post alone tells you what a sick and sad soul that man is. Hopefully he finds a tall building and jumps off of it and finishes his thought.
And I'm sure Tad Chaylor will read this. Ed don't need you, Gracey don't need you and Dahlheimer don't need you and I certainly never needed you. The fact of the matter is, you needed all of us more than we needed you. You had four guys who would have moved mountains for you.
You sabotaged friendships of four men who actually truly cared and loved you.
I guess that's easy to do when you don't love yourself.

Physically battering another person is wrong and and Chad should be punished for that if that's how things went down.

Cheating is always a complicated issue that involves several people, and in one sense it seems many boundaries were crossed. The best way to handle it is to have a serious and honest conversation about what people truly want, and accept that everyone has valid desires, and then decide whether their relationships are toxic or healthy. It seems perfectly reasonable that the people involved would be best to separate.

I personally never insist that the band resolve their difference in order to remain a band and make music. That is totally up to them.


Saying that you hope Chad jumps off the building says alot about you - it's sick. Chad's abusive actions should go punished. So should yours if the court finds that you were abusive.

Cindy, I take it you have never listened to one Live song, not truly understand the message and meaning behind those songs. If you did, you would be more like Ed who would never judge someone without having all of the facts.
I believe you can ask many Live fans how I have treated them over the years. Many will say very well. Sure, some may say I was an A-Hole and I probably was, but some fans were too entitled and expected things and asked for things that were just beyond what I could do for them.

Every Live item I own or every Live moment I’ve experienced, I can proudly say I’ve acquired or earned it on my own. Don’t need any hand outs from any Live insider nor have I ever asked for or expected anything except for one thing. - During this silence I have asked the band to just be honest with the fans on their status. Oh, maybe two- when they were together post reunion, to not fake it. To give it their honest best or retire. That’s entitlement? Ok. I know many others have asked the same and on the flip side, those who will defend Līve will holler “they don’t owe anyone anything” which is another argument for another day. All this drama behind the scenes truthfully is embarrassing and the band could avoid this if they’d just had made a simple “we’re on hiatus” kind of statement to explain the silence. I’ve been a music fan all of my life and have participated in other forums and there is always, ALWAYS drama on message boards. But never have I seen drama directly from band members or their acquaintances involving the fans. It’s a little embarrassing and just how judgmental or “Ed like” do you think that is? There’s no such thing as a non-judgmental human.

Is it possible that since this is uncharted territory for them that nobody understands truly how to handle it. You are asking guys to divulged personal items. And it took awhile before they wanted to let the cat out of the bag. Maybe they wanted to keep that personal stuff under wraps to see if there was a pathway forward. I feel bad for all involved as this truly was one of the best bands to have come out of the 90’s and had the talent and staying power to be one of the most iconic bands of all time.
Collectively, their sound is out of this world.

I 100% agree with you. The building thing was a joke. He can jump out of the first floor and hurt himself. He dove off a stage and tore his quad tendon one time during TGF. If he read that. He would have gotten the inside joke.

A generalized hiatus statement during the height of Covid when we were all wondering where they were would not have been hard, but I agree with you here for the most part.

The sad thing. Gracey is the nicest guy; most honest guy and amazing father to his three children.
He was also a great friend to Taylor. He didn’t deserve that.

Same here. I just kept thinking, no way. SMH, I feel so badly for Chad, And they have children. I wish him well and hopefully things have or will soon get back to normal for him and his kids.
