On the bright side, CT making things right for Lucia is a glimmer of light that things (whatever "things" entails) are, at least incrementally, moving in a positive direction. Maybe not necessarily for the band, but just personally.

When the band broke it off with Chris Shinn there was a lot of good will that seemed to get snuffed out and perceptions of past events started to change. Like, what was the original break up really about? And why just kick Shinn to the curb like that? Did he really just suck or was it because people didn't recognize the new guy with hair? Why did the band *really* reunite with Ed? Was it because they really buried the hatchet and rebuilt burned bridges or was it just a nostalgia trip to make some bank?

There, quite frankly, a LOT of unresolved shit with the band. You could say they have about 4 different eras worth of stuff to fit into books or a documentary series. The early days from high school through the Death of a Dictionary/pre-Mental Jewelry era, the MJ through SFBM era, the post-Ed/Chris Shinn/Think Loud/UFD era, and the reunion through current times era.

Whether we ever get another album from them or not, I hope we get something like that just to at least put everything into perspective. I've been following these guys for nearly 30 years. It'd be nice to get an encompassing overview of all that time.

There's probably 4 completely different opinions on that. The objective truth of it would take someone completely independent to get to the bottom of it.
