Again, you're just a sourpuss fan who dislikes Gracey because your personal opinions on a tyrannical overreach by Govt/Big Pharma don't align with his.

Did it ever occur to you Gracey isn't holding up anything?

It could be another band member?

It could be the issue around how insurance companies agree to pay bands if the shows get canceled?

It could be how much a venue/or the booking agents were willing to pay a band or artist?

Could be they are waiting until all this stuff goes away? ...looks like people who edict-ed this mess into society are about to run out of places to hide.

Have you even considered the massive hyper-inflation over the past 12 months has cut into after tax, take home pays for crews, support staff, other band/tour folks, not to mention the artists?

Slow your fucking roll on this already. Maybe take Nick's stance about positivity for future performances.

It could be any of that, but it could also be Gracey. Thanks for playing "it could be".

Well, let me be the one to say it. It's not Gracey holding it up, but the other points are very valid.

QUOTE(Voodoo Lady @ Feb 14 2022, 9:02 pm) *

Just because a band is your favorite doesn’t mean you have to always kiss their asses and pretend everything they do or say is perfect and golden. I’ve seen the, “how dare you say anything bad about Līve or any of its members or you’re a horrible fan” thing going on for some time and it is preposterous. I have loved Līve for 30 years, but when they are bullshitting about something, or phoning it in, I can sure enough be honest enough to call them out on it. As Bremang mentioned, this is an online message board, meant for DISCUSSIONS of topics around a common interest. Therefore, I don’t have to “slow my roll” for shit. And that goes both ways. You can post/say what you want, I can/post say what I want, Chad Gracey himself can come in here and say/post what he wants, and we can like it, agree with it, or NOT!!!

I never once stated that I dislike CG’s stance on Covid protocol, mandates, rules, regulations etc. What I -have- stated is that I disagree with how he responds to and treats fans who question Līve’s status quo, setlists, etc (whatever else it’s been that he’s went off on). As I just stated, it’s a free world, he can say what in whatever tone he wants. Also, yes, I don’t always agree with the MANNER in which a fan asks, comments to him/in general, or comes at him with something. It’s my opinion that the way he goes about responding (at times) is NOT a good look. You can agree or not. -If you think what he spouts off about is always acceptable, fine. Go on with your bad self. victory.gif

You know what, it -has- in fact occurred to me that perhaps he isn’t holding up anything. I’ve speculated tons of scenarios and reasons (your list summarized a lot of them) why Līve is silent and if you dig around, you’ll find it all on this board somewhere. And I see your little word play “ed dicted”, huh? sarcasm.gif Well guess what, I’ have and WILL call Ed out on subpar bullshit as well.

Anything else, “grandfalloon”? Perhaps you’d like to log in under your alt account and come at me with something else? banana.gif

you're a walking contradiction in every sense. Carry on, as I will too. I don't care what you say, i support your right to say it. So what, you don't like CAG's replies to social media worms? They start rumors and then it spirals into more shit. It's good he calls them out. Alt?? Like what? Like the 20 chad taylor accounts on here? Where did that guy disappear to?

not nearly as contradictory as you trying to censor people in one post, and then saying you support their right to speak their mind in the next post

i haven't seen anything around here this thick since that time Bill Hynes tried to rear in fans. lol.gif

Pat looks the happiest I've seen him on stage in a very long time.

I don't know what would be the meaning of long time for you, but he looked pretty happy on stage in the Shinn era. Really glad he gets to play again on a stage. I don't know what happened so he got cut from that band even starting from TDTH, but he's a good player that couldn't shine as much as he could have.

This looks like quite the event. STP with Daughtry and Cedric the Entertainer.
To bad it's in Idaho.

Pat's run with Daughtry looks to be over.

On Pat's IG, some of Daughtry's band members gave him a nice tribute.

Know what's going to be funny? When the band *finally* releases the first proper Live album in 20 years next year (BOP will be 20 years old) with all the original members and everyone is singing kumbaya again for the first time in nearly as long of a time.

Come on, Live. Tell that joke. Pleeeeease. I wanna laugh. Or cry... tears of joy. And do it all with nary an album credit from Zak Loy.

What is more of a proper Live album about BOP than Black Mountain?

I don't like either, for the record. The last album that sounds like a band all on the same page is TDTH, and even that CT says was fraught with stress and problems.

Nah, I'm pretty sure Chad never mentioned TDTH having major issues. SS and V for sure were full of problems.

Maybe not major, I am sure I read an interview where he said the record company took all the rockers off it, and replaced them with more of Ed's songs, and that the demos were better.

Yup, Chad said in the letter than he thought the distance demo had an amazing drum track which was better than the final version, and Ed's vocals on a Don't Wait demo were his best. He also would have preferred some of the rockers, but he also liked how it turned out. But yeah, for sure not fraught with stress and problems.
