How far in advance did we start hearing about the MJ and TC anniversary merch?

Thank you. Things would need to be happening now. Part of me wants to laugh at that thought, but then there’s the other part of me that always holds out hope for this band.

There's no way Live would miss out on the holiday rush for a feb release

It's okay if they skip it, right?

They can just wait another two years and do the TDTH/SS anniversary together.

2024 is also the 30th anniversary of Throwing Copper. Probably the next time we hear from Live.

Live just doesn't seem to care anymore. It was better when Ed was solo. At least both parties were doing something.

Are there really any plans to release a 25th anniversary version of SS? Throwing Copper got the love, but Throwing Copper is also the most recognizable work from the band by a country mile. SS is far less so. If you picked 10 casual fans of 90's rock you'd be hard pressed to find that even 1 of them would know Lakini's Juice off the top of their head. You might have to pick 10 more fans just to find 1.

Hard core fans of the band definitely want a 25th anniversary edition, but when in recent times has the band done much for even the casual fans of the band, never mind the hardcore section?

MJ got one. SS was way more commercially successful.

I thought it was a lock to be released, but now I'm having my doubts.

Chad had Think Loud for remastering and a bunch of people helping him organize. It probably has alot to do with his and the bands current circumstances.

I'm thinking the release of Churchbox may have impacted plans for a 25th anniversary SS release.

I doubt that it has any impact on the anniversary release.

Hard core fans of the band definitely want a 25th anniversary edition,

Have you contacted the record company that owns the masters, demos, and works of Secret Samadhi to inquire (or petition) regarding an anniversary release?

Of course, no one here would hold Live accountable for something that is not in their control. Never, right?

but when in recent times has the band done much for even the casual fans of the band, never mind the hardcore section?

I separated this from the other part as they are two completely different things.
